Emma's powers are incredibly inconsistent and she has no real answer to the kind of kinetic firepower Daisy has. Daisy "Quake" Johnson has her number pretty easily.

Not to mention that, unless they explcit contradict MCU Daisy, they'd be justified using comic feats.

I wonder if MK 11 will give the characters more impressive feats, so we don't have to calculate strength via "Test Your Might".

That minigame's going to define any MK character for the rest of Death Battle unfortunately. There's no reason for them to disregard it.

Otherwise it's literally every character surviving lacerations, impalement, and in some cases having their organs outright destroyed - and continue fighting.

Yet everyone's susceptible to nutshots.

Nut shots are deadly man.

Even Gods can't stand up to them.

No, it can reality warp inside its own virtual reality. But SHODAN doesn't need to get IN the virtual reality, so its a moot point. Its just two disconnected systems, with the difference being that one is on a space station and could just bombard the others servers from orbit. You need a system on the power level of AM to be able to warp reality

To absolutely no ones surprise, it’s Aquaman vs Namor.

Wow. I'm shocked.

Also I forgot Sora vs Pit was a thing. Never watched it more than once.

Think Namor sashimi tastes any good? Because I think this fight is gonna end with Namor sashimi.
Or is there something about Namor I'm underestimating compared to Aquaman?

Namor is supposed to be pretty high up there in the strength category: it's been said on this very wiki that he can't fight Hulk to a stand still on land, and flat out win in the water. I know Aquaman is pretty strong, but I'm not clear how powerful he is compared to other characters with Super Strength. He's go less mobility on land since Namor can fly, but his ability to summon Sea Creatures may give him some breathing room.

Hasn't Namor recently acquired the ability to control water?

I dunno, Aquaman can summon Cthulhu. I'm not sure how Namor's going to stand up to that.

He's also apparently had electrical powers at some points...or at least electricity absorbing powers.

He can...? But Cthulhu's not a sea monster. He's an extradimensional alien god who's weakened by being imprisoned underwater.

Comic books, man.

I don't think Aquaman has ever canonically controlled Cthulhu. It's just a meme that gained popularity as a response to people making fun of Aquaman.

He can however, control some pretty nasty ancient sea beasts though right?

Why are we spoiling it? T He trope page already has the battle combatants unspoilered, so why bother with that?

Okay, to run down a few things -

- Namor could once absorb and emit energy from his body at will. Stan Lee himself later said that Namor lost the power to do that and outgrew it. He can occasionally reacquire this ability, but its utterly random and cannot be relied upon.

- Flashpoint establishes that Aquaman and Wonder Woman are almost perfectly on par when they are both fighting flat out. Wonder W Oman only manages to win through taking a cheap shot after Aquaman was distracted by Superman lasering off his arm. And that was all on dry land.

- Aquaman can stab his trident right into Darkseids eye enough to puncture it. Remember, they said that Darkseids Omega beams can equal the power of the big bang. Logically, Darkseids eyes have to be able to withstand a blast that is being projected from his eyes due to simple physics. T Herefore, when he needs to, Aquaman can hit harder than the force of the big bang. Whether you say this is the actual striking strength or its magical and it ignores the durability of an opponent doesn't really matter, its going to hit hard it both cases.

- Aqumans "talk to the fishes" thing covers every aquatic species, and a portion of the brain of every formerly aquatic species. He can just talk to a portion of the brain and tell it to shut off, like when he gave a White Martian painful seizures after he was insulted.

- Namors ability to fly isn't much use if he gets depowered the longer he's out of the water, meaning its, at best, a way to run away from the thing that is empowering him and make himself weaker.

-They already did this fight. Marvel and DC have already done this fight, and Namor vs. Aquaman was one of the few fights they did that wasn't fan voted. Aquaman won when he smashed Namor with a whale. So its a factor in determining who would win, that Aquaman would win.

Yeah, this looks real one sided.

To be fair on that last one, Aquaman won that fight because by his own admittance, he cheated.

Also, the rules of that contest meant first incapacitate wins. And Namor punched Arthur all the way to land with one hit moments earlier.

Yeah, but cheating is allowed in Death Battle too. Plus, being punched far isn't being incapacitated either, so it was clearly still a fight.

And I know that Death Battle has ignored characters being able to bring themselves back to life at will if they're ever killed, but remember, Aquamans response to being killed was to basically go God Of War on the whole thing, punching Charon to death, ripping off Cerberus's head and demanding that Hades let him leave or he would kick his ass.
