I would bet against that, the Right barely tolerated him as their useful homosexual but when the Pedophilia apologia came out that pretty much confirmed the worst stereotypes that they believe and thus killed his position.

I can't really get behind the "pedpophilia apologia" as the way he was brought down because he was talking about his own experiences as a victim of sexual assault. Which the right went with.

The other horrible things bringing him down had no chance of happening because the people who hate that already hated him and thus it wouldn't affect his support. The only way he would ever go down would be if the Right found a reason to turn on him, which is what happened.

The Trump campaign and the NRA used the same consultants to launch similar TV ads campaigns at the height of the 2016 election, which could be a violation of federal campaign laws. What is Patrick's issue? Avenatti is a "no way" candidate and I know about Cuomo's drawbacks, but what is Patrick's deal?
Not keen on Beto either for the reasons described here; TL;DR Democrats need to recruit top tier Senate candidates for 2020, given Republicans' track record a Democratic president without a Senate majority would be essentially paralyzed.
