I volunteer to clean up Headscratcher pages that are chock-full of complaining.
-.-Your spelling seems a little off.
Has there been a problem with complaining?
^^ That was why it was renamed, so yes. Not all of the pages have been cleaned up from when it was IJBM, and some people persist in complaining anyway. Just clean up any you come across.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”You just ninja'd me.
You know, I was cleaning the Batman page and it wasn't so bad. It was much less of flame/stupidfest than I expected, ecspecially for a franchise with such a wide audience. I was done in like 10 to 20 minutes.

Put me in motion, drink the potion, use the lotion, drain the ocean, cause commotion, fake devotion, entertain a notion, be Nova ScotianLet's start with the stuff on Trope Overdosed.
I think a few of those pages should be cut. Like the Real Life subsections "The World" and "Real Life in General". They are just complaining magnets.
Headscratchers about Tropes are turning into what Pet Peeve Trope once was. What do you think we should do about those? Should we remove the problematic ones or just try to tone down the complaining?
-.-I guess trope headcratchers are rather unnecessary.
So just to clarify, Headscratchers is about "Canon Q&A", not "Creator Q&A"? Meaning, we can discuss how a plot hole could make sense in-universe, rather than why some idiot writer introduced the plot hole?
Well, yeah, that's kind of obvious I thought. Your headscratcher can be, "Why did X happen the way it did?" but not, "Why did the idiot writers insert X Plot Hole?"
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Pinned the thread For Great Justice. Also, I tackled Headscratchers.Inheritance Cycle today and cut off 220K characters. I'm really very tired.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I second cutting the Trope Headscratchers and the Creator Headscratchers. Especially the former, which people are using as a place for bitching about creators they don't like and nothing more.
-.-Methinks you mean "the latter".
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanI just had my attention called to World War Z and The Zombie Survival Guide, which have been taken over by a lot of author bashing and need cleaning. Someone needs to do this other than me, because if I do it, I'm going to purge both articles.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I just chainsawed out everything but the actual Headscratcher-type questions and an answer or two on World War Z. Let me know if I went too far. Fighteer, do you want me to put in a comment to keep out author bashing, etc.?

First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things. That's very good. I think we need some kind of banner on all Headscratchers pages (including the edit page) reminding people that it's not Just Bugs Me anymore.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Finished the Zombie Survival Guide one too. I think some of them were a holdover from IJBM, because the phrase was used word-for-word several times.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.I'll run through the Avatar The Last Airbender headscratchers myself.
Also, shouldn't this thread be in Special Efforts?
EDIT: derp. I'm tired.

On Headscratchers.Bob And George, is it okay if I remove the fourth one? It's not bile, but it's still essentially just a complaint.
Also, I'm not sure where the first one on that page belongs.

It is perfectly okay. I already deleted it, by the way.
Well, this explains things, not complaining but at least all the cuts make sense.
Is this thread like the Natter Alert thread where tropers who are busy with other projects (or just overwhelmed by the crud, or unsure how much is OK to cut) can point out which pages are especially bad? Or is it assumed that all Headscratchers are horrible and need cleansing eventually. Or is pointing out pages without doing them ourselves bad manners?

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Where The Hell Is Springfield is basically only Complaining and Complaining About Complaining. Can it simply be blanked, or is this off-topic here (the Ca C, not the Complain)?

Well, we need start it already. Sugestions? Voluntaries?
