I think this would work much better with a full shot of the legs instead of cutting them off.

I think its fine...the whole outfit looks painted on...however if a full version is found, it should totally be put up.

This is Mimi-don't let her cuteness fool you-she's got spunk.

I agree with Deboss, that bothered me too earlier. It's a trope about pants, with the top bit mentioned as only "extra points". No pull, but ideally it should be a full body shot.

Suggestions if we were to replace, to stay with Storm:

Full body is not this trope though this about legs only.

Note: Full skintight bodysuits are a different trope altogether. As are cases when the outfit really is painted on. Form-Fitting Wardrobe is for when clothing clings like this but is made of materials that shouldn't.

I was going to suggest this a literal constructed / part of the body but thats not quite this trope (there arnt any color pictures of her actually wearing this trope but she does.).

I know, it's just that it can be a bit creepy when we zoom in the legs specifically.

If it isn't, we can just crop from the pictures above.

The pics of storm that you posted is Full Body Cat Suit Spy Cat Suit than this which could lead to misuse. (EDIT: might make Full Body Cat Suit a redirect to Spy Cat Suit.)

I would of said Psylock [1] but thats not exactly this as well its more Painted On Zettai Ryouiki.

Yeah, I don't think the full body suit works. If she had a separator, like the current image, it shows that it's separate. Although, I'm curious why we don't have just a general "super tight clothes" trope.

[up][up]Agreed its a mess because storm isnt exactly a Spy Cat Suit as well.

There is Super Heroes Wear Tights but that doesn't help say non super heroes like Chachamaru's pactio outfit from Negima its not full body but its not quite this as well (The Zettai Ryouiki and Opera Gloves are part of her body.) the outfit is a long the lines of Psylock.

[up] Those dont seem the trope though they just look like Tight Jeans in a Form-Fitting Wardrobe this is more wearing stockings as pants.

Spy Catsuit, in its description/laconic is specifically about infiltration and stealth missions.

So it collides head-on with the disclaimer on this page.

I have to admit I know very little outside of the animated series.

^ That's quite good. I particularly like the fact that you can see the lines caused by her tucked-in t-shirt on the pants, even at wiki size.

I don't suppose those literally-painted-on swimsuits sometimes seen in Sports Illustrated would count, would they?

I really hate when we use images not from works, and those pants aren't really painted on. The legs past the knee are fairly loose. That looks like someone's picture of them self.
