I didnt know why you guys said stuff along those lines and then I remembered today is the day the Mario Collection for the Switch goes POOF.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. That all being said, you know what would actually be very funny? If for the next year, the only Mario games that Nintendo announces are Luigi, Toad, Wario or Yoshi titles.
Damned one way or damned the other, ey?
BTW, it's only the digital Super Mario 3D All-Stars that's no longer for sale tomorrow, right? Because the stores aren't actually forbidden to sell them still, are they? So the physical release is more like "Only available until all the copies are sold, whenever that happens, be it yesterday or in a hundred years."
I'm reasonably certain that the physical copies are getting pulled from at least the Japanese stores, but I do not have a source for that.
I think they're getting pulled from official Nintendo stores, but I have no idea how much discretion Nintendo has over private retailers. Perhaps they've made deals where they're obligated to pull them, but I'm not sure.
You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midNot quite, CNN, but it’s fun memery nonetheless.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy. Its funny, even with how relatively unimpressive Super Mario 3D All Stars was as a package, the lack of Galaxy 2, and the scummy nature of doing a timed release, I was still tempted to pick it up.
But not patching in the option to control the cursor in Galaxy with the second control stick as opposed to gyro or the touchscreen ultimately was the deciding factor in me not picking it up. Nintendo allows in the option for the Nvidia Shield port of SMG, but can't be bothered for the actual big Switch version?
Yeah, no thanks.
Here's Nintendo's official statement on physical availability of the game:
There were a fair few copies of 3D All Stars around when I was looking a week or two ago, but that could have changed with people deciding they want to grab it before its gone.
EB Games also seems to have set the secondhand price as really high, only 5 dollars lower than the RRP and more than the normal price at other stores.
Damn, a lotta folks bought into the FOMO for 3D-All Stars.
I refused to buy it (despite wanting it) on the grounds that Nintendo was being unfair with the limited release, but... I seem to have been largely alone in that.
I totally understand it. That Lost Forever feeling is the worst.
Remember when they gave you the entire backlog of The Legend of Zelda as a Pre-Order Bonus?
I mean, as someone who doesn't own any of the three games, there was definitely some actual missing out at stake, and I did want to experience 64 and Sunshine for the first time, so in the end, is the missing out really something so imaginary as it is made out to be at least in my situation?
SoundCloudFor me it wasn't FOMO, I just simply wanted to play those 3 games on Switch.
I don't really feel FOMO that often, if ever.
Then again I kinda am having FOMO in regards to the PS3 online store closing down, so I'm just focusing on getting some of the digital content before it's reduced to atoms.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Besides Mario 3D All-Stars, the only times when I felt the FOMO syndrome were when I was looking for certain special editions of games (Etrian Odyssey V and Nexus on 3DS, Bayonetta 2 on Wii U, The Last Storynote on Wii, Super Mario Maker on Wii U, and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! on GCN). Funnily enough, when my brother bought the special copy of MKDD (for those who don't know, it was the one which included a second GCN disc with several demos and trailers for upcoming games), they also offered him Zelda: Collector's Edition without any of us knowing about its existence, so it was a twofold luxury for our 2003 Christmas!

135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I know of that demo disc. Didn't it have a demo for Sonic Heroes on it?
I never had that version of Double Dash, I only had the vanilla version.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Yes. Another of the demo versions present was that of Mario Party 5 (which we got in the following year's Christmas).
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I regretted not getting Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii when I had the chance (I didn't get it because I was at college at the time and hadn't brought my Wii, so I wouldn't be able to actually play it for a while). But then it came out on Wii U so it all worked out. 3D All-Stars never really seemed like that much of an improvement to me.
I miss Mario Baseball.
Maybe Nintendo is just pulling an April Fools joke on us by removing Super Mario 3D All-Stars from digital and physical stores (temporarily) and is working on a major update for the game that addresses most of the criticisms, as well as adding in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Hmm, it feels like Mario... is Missing.
Ah yes, my favorite game, Hotel, where they forgot to program the entrance to level 1 so Luigi just crouches for all of eternity
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢No.
Ukrainian Red CrossGot the All Stars game, but I got the UK version by accident xd. Thank goodness the Switch is not region locked.
Mileena Madness
At least Zelda and DK won't have to worry about this Mario removal equivalent stuff for their own anniversaries. Since Nintendo will ignore them.
