Yep, that's right, we're back! Back to Radio City!

The return of one of the more long-running R Ps, this one is set in Radio City, one year after the events of the first. People have moved on, but it's still the same superhero and supervillain-infested town it's always been.

First, there are a few brief rules on powers:

  • Telekinesis does not work on living tissue or anything touching living tissue.
  • Teleportation is an option, but it may not be spammable.
  • We have like five immortal beings beyond humanity's understanding, we don't need any more.

So yeah, let's start this again.
  • Name:
  • Age:
  • Gender:
  • Appearance:
    • Costume (If Applicable):
  • Personality:
  • Biography:
    • If returning, what did your character do in the interim?:
  • Abilities:
  • Equipment:
  • Additional Notes:

  • Name: Motorpocalypse/Jeff Sanderssen
  • Age: 37
  • Gender: M
  • Appearance: Jeff has a square jaw beneath hardened, dense features. His hair is dirty blonde, though most of the "dirty" is from soot and scorch marks. He also happens to have a pair of holes in his back. When performing particularly strenuous activity, they vent fire. His arms are also mechanical, but they resemble a motorcycle's innards than sleek cybernetics. He has a pair of functional wheels on the base of his(similarly robotic) legs, covered up by pants most of the time.
    • Costume (If Applicable): A cool blue longcoat and shorter pants to let the wheels run, along with a set of gigantic goggles and a gas mask to hide his identity. He also screws in tailpipes onto his back to let the fire not light him up.
  • Personality: The short of it is that Motorpocalypse is arrogant and vindictive. He has a long list of people he hates, and fancies himself a toppler of gods, an upsetter of the status quo.
  • Biography: At a young age, Jeff was tormented because of his alleged "super-science" inventions, which of course never worked. After awhile, he decided that, screw it, death would be pretty nice. He jumped off a bridge... into a truck filled with bombs and instruction manuals on these bombs. They somehow osmosed into his head and inspired him to become the mad bomber Professor Apocalypse. That didn't go over so well, and through a long series of events he got exploded by his own bombs. That was the end of him in the RP.
    • If returning, what did your character do in the interim?: But he got rebuilt by Muse, his ex and another supervillain, but he was forever a changed man. He developed a pathological fear of bombs, swearing them off forever. Then he went around the world, touring with the foremost experts in advanced weaponry. Now, he has returned to Radio City to wreak his revenge.
  • Abilities: His cybernetics grant him 200 horsepower of super strength, he can deploy grappling hooks from his body, and his wheels allow him to shoot straight up buildings. His madly scientific tendencies also allow him to construct all forms of superweaponry.
  • Equipment: A laser gun, a machete, and a mirror.
  • Additional Notes: He has a list of people he wants dead.

  • Name: Black Rose
  • Age: 1
  • Gender: M(???)
  • Appearance: He has black Anime Hair and is short and lanky. His skin has a slightly gray pallor and is always dry. He wears a black shirt with a white Omega symbol over a gray long sleeved shirt with black pants.
  • Personality: Black Rose is a strange, mercurial creature. He often changes personality from encounter to encounter, but on the whole sticks closely to the mythical Trickster Archetype. Knowing him, he probably started the myths in the first place. He has a very stunning and confusing presence, often able to blunt-force his way through any conversation.
  • Biography: Black Rose was summoned exactly one year ago in a summoning by a small, obscure cult dedicated to the concept of chaos headquartered in Radio City. He literally immediately walked out, stealing their rent check and going on a crime spree. He found out after a short incarceration that no, being caught as a criminal did not pay, so he decided to not get caught. Ever again. Of course, he never actually remembers the details of any of this.
    • If returning, what did your character do in the interim?: He has since met most of the movers and shakers of radio city. He has also realized that the cult that summoned him does not take kindly to their alleged servant walking away, so he now runs from them regularly. Nothing to really worry about.
  • Abilities: Black Rose can amplify powers to uncontrollable levels with a touch. The longer he stays holding on, the more the powers get amplified. He's also made of chaotic energy, and as a result bleeds a thick black fluid, doesn't need to breathe, and doesn't need to eat. He's still quite the Big Eater, though. Psychic scans also recognize him as chaotic and not entirely human. As a suddenly-realized Required Secondary Power, he becomes immune to the powers he amplifies, while he is amplifying them.
  • Equipment: A tin of "τµ█♂" brand hair gel. It is literally the best hair gel ever, having excellent grip, texture, and malleability. Will also have a few stolen rent checks and a notebook detailing the effects of various overloaded superheroes.

Some Guy Or Something
#2: Jun 7th 2011 at 4:58:51 PM

This looks like fun, if you don't mind letting a newcomer join. Also, since I am unfamiliar with what happened in the events of the first one as well as the general setting, correct anything that seems off.

  • Name: Faceplant/Andrew Blair
  • Age: 19
  • Gender: Male
  • Appearance: A lanky teen with a cheeky grin on his face most of the time. His chocolate brown eyes are often described as sparkling and his matching short brown hair is subtly spiked. On an average day he'll wear a T-shirt, torn jeans, his favourite brown boots, and a big black backpack for his laptop.
    • Costume (If Applicable): Wears a mining suit, including the goggles and helmet. A crudely painted 'F' is on it.
  • Personality: Andrew is a joker, playing pranks on people constantly. He never really understands the idea of a serious situation and lacks a social filter for what he thinks to what he says. He also tends to be incredibly lazy if he feels there is no good jokes he could pull off. He's also a huge flirt and will occasionally hit on guys to get a laugh. Through it all, he wants to do good, but will do bad if it would be funnier.
  • Biography: Andrew has lived a normal life. At least, until he recently moved to Radio City. Having only discovered his powers three years ago, Andrew has started to get the grasp of them and been tempted to go around being a vigilante. After designing his costume, the boy managed to accidently cause a car wreck, but managed to escape before he was caught. Last year, he was kicked out of the house by his father when the teenager was fired for the third time in a row. His mother slipped him enough money to get him to a nearby city and a month of cheap appartment rent.
  • Abilities: To create small stalagmites at will. They tend to be square and no bigger than necessary to trip someone, hence his superhero name. Also, asphalt and limestone seem lighter for him than most. Somewhat technologically savvy, but nothing super-powered.
  • Equipment: On his everyday person he carries a cell phone, some change, and a laptop in his backpack.

Hells yeah man, that's pretty good. There was also this running gag that Professor Apocalypse got hit in the face/fell on his face all the time. Approved.

(ahem) Well, since apparently I've been made co-GM without realizing it...

New Radio City is a largely metropolitan city in the southeast region of the state of Maine. For one odd reason or another, it is the home of a wide array of supervillains with unique personalities and capabilities, and an equally wide array of superheroes to combat against them.

Like most cities with a supervillain infestation, Radio City had gone through the song and dance of nearly being destroyed and having to need be saved countless times before. However, Radio City met its destruction when a cache of explodium, a unique self-replicating compound that Apocalypse used in order to cause normal inorganic material to explode, was left unchecked and proceeded to grow to dangerous levels. Thankfully, most of the town was evacuated before the whole thing blew up the old city.

Through the efforts of its surviving civilians, the superheroes, and even some of its villains, the town was rebuilt and renamed New Radio City.

And then things went back to normal. For the most part.

Your average superhero city...

  • Name: James "The Detective" Wells
  • Age: 29
  • Gender: Male
  • Appearance: An ordinary looking fellow with raven hair and brown eyes. Got an average height and an average build, and usually seen wearing a brown trenchcoat and fedora. A little athletic. Just a bit.
  • Personality: Friendly, charismatic, and always ready to help someone, the detective still comes off as a little bit of a goof. Regardless, he's always eager to lend a helping hand and he can focus hard on something when he puts his mind to it. An optimist.
  • Biography: Originally from another city, James lived a quiet life as an aspiring private eye until Doll walked into his office. From then on, he's been pulled into some crazy shit because of her, whether directly or indirectly, and he followed her to Radio City.
    • If returning, what did your character do in the interim?: Became friends with Vigil. Is now living with Doll, who he managed to convince to give up vigilante killing. Has a part-time job as a substitute teacher (gotta pay those bills somehow).
  • Abilities: Observant, has investigative skills as per his job. Good reflexes due to living a dangerous life in a dangerous city. Also a bit lucky when it comes to not getting hurt, but it's nothing supernatural.
  • Equipment: Just his notebook, his trusty pistol, and his favorite hat.
  • Additional Notes: He still keeps his old wedding ring on his right hand.

  • Name: Dahlia "Doll" Woods
  • Age: 5 (appears to be in her mid 20s)
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: A beautiful woman with wavy, shoulder length brown hair and green eyes.
  • Personality: Quiet and introverted; she finds it hard to open up to most people. Despite this, she has a fierce temper.
  • Biography: Created by a mad doll maker who had access to unknown magicks, Doll was dealt a bad hand when it came to her life. After a violent encounter with a would be kidnapper, the homunculus became a vigilante to seek out that sense of power and control she had when taking out that man's life. Eventually, she came to regret these actions of hers, creating conflict within herself. Conflict was also created between her and the detective, which caused her to flee to Radio City, hoping to stop involving him in her life.
    • If returning, what did your character do in the interim?: Doll and the detective resolved most of the issues they had between them and are now staying in the same apartment. Because she could only go without a real name for so long, she made the alias Dahlia Woods for herself as something to go by. She's still a vigilante, but she refrains from killing whenever she can.
  • Abilities: Doll's body cannot be torn, cut, burned, punctured, or such in anyway, nor can she fall ill or the like. However, she can still feel pain and will pass out if her body experiences enough of it.
  • Equipment: Her crowbar, a memento of hers from her first vigilante murder.

This looks interesting. Trying to decide whether to have my character be a fire-themed hero named Willy Pete or an immensly creepy villain called Leather Jack.

Decisions, decisions.

After they wiped his criminal record, he killed the research team and broke himself out. After that he tracked down and killed his brother Mr. 13. When he died, however, 13's bad luck powers seemed to counteract 7's good luck powers, and 7 was left with only Mr. 6's psychic powers. • Name: Aria "Muse" Melody
  • Age: 33
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: A cute redhead with shoulder length hair and blue eyes. Doesn't give a damn about keeping to a particular style, so can be dressed radically different from day to day.
    • Costume (If Applicable): Aside from always obscuring her face (for obvious reasons), her costumes can vary wildly. Due to her main villainous mode of transportation being by motorcycle, biker chick comes up a lot lately.
  • Personality: Fun loving and thrill seeking, she sees villainy as less a lifestyle or job, more of a hobby. Tends not to take things too seriously, but can be responsible should the situation call for it.
  • Biography: Apocalypse's ex girlfriend and regular, ordinary thrill seeking supervillainess.
    • If returning, what did your character do in the interim?: After Apocalypse was blown up by his own bombs, she rebuilt him into a cyborg. Some point after Ial began running for mayor of New Radio City (more on that later), she inherited the Lesson Theater and is now its owner, in addition to being an actress and writer.
  • Abilities: Muse has the ability to influence people through music. However, that's really hard to portray via a text medium, so she doesn't use it that often. She also happens to be extremely adept at working with machinery, which is an expertise she shines in.
  • Equipment: Various prop contraptions that match with her outfit. She also has a motorcycle with a LOT of gadgetry built into it.

  • Name: Ial "The Thespian" Lesson
  • Age: 38
  • Gender: Male
  • Appearance: A thin yet athletic man with short brown hair and grey eyes. Almost always dressed sharply.
    • Costume (If Applicable): A white tuxedo with a white comedy mask. Usually with a cane.
  • Personality: Acting aloof and always knowing more than he lets on, Ial speaks in an overly formal, flowery manner. He tends to act above it all, but has a soft spot for Aria and will get angry if anything were to endanger her.
  • Biography: Formerly an actor slash director slash writer slash theater owner slash supervillain, Ial obtained his powers in a vague incident involving Y2K, a college physics experiment, and a collection of play scripts. Blessed with near omniscience, his eccentric personality caused most to underestimate him.
    • If returning, what did your character do in the interim?: Taking a less active role in villainy and choosing to act as more of a back up role to other, more spry evil doers, Ial more or less retired from formal villainy. After the time skip, he found himself in the position of the mayoral seat. Something he wouldn't have run for (or at least have been cautious about running for) under normal circumstances, but since he was essentially handed this position down by the GM, he accepted it. As the mayor of New Radio City, Ial has more power to manipulate events from behind the scenes, though his vice mayor Dr. Lang (a mindreader) does his best to keep the former villain in check.
  • Abilities: Ial has a total awareness of the 4th wall. So aside from knowing that he's a fictional character, he can also read other people's posts (and by extension, character's thoughts), read sign-up sheets, and even participate in the discussion thread if he so chooses. As a trade in, his physical prowess isn't extraordinary, though he can get himself out of a dangerous situation if necessary.
  • Equipment: A walking cane. Actually has two - one of them is a cane sword while the other is a taser.
  • Additional Notes: The mayor of New Radio City, ladies and gentleman.

  • Name: Cassandra "Sheathe" Tal
  • Age: 39
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: Tan skin. Long black hair and dark brown eyes. An athletic yet curvy and womanly figure.
    • Costume (If Applicable): A black, form fitting costume reminiscent of a stage ninja.
  • Personality: Adventurous, risk taking, a little flirty. Can be dead serious when she wants to be though.
  • Biography: The daughter of two wealthy Adventurer Archaeologists, she inherited their money and vast collection of artifacts after their death. While selling away some of said artifacts, she happened upon a scroll that gave her powers. She used said powers to become a world renowned assassin before retiring in Radio City, becoming a superhero in her spare time (which she had plenty of).
    • If returning, what did your character do in the interim?: Not much, actually.
  • Abilities: If Cassandra casts an enchantment on an implement of death and then contains said implement within her body, other objects of that sort can't harm her.
  • Equipment: Swords, daggers, handguns, and submachine guns.
  • Additional Notes: She has an enchanted bullet lodged in her thigh and enchanted poison flowing in her veins. Yup.

Okay, um... I have no idea what I was thinking when I typed this up. Uh... If it doesn't fit, or if it's, uh, dumb, let me know and I'll try and figure out something more fitting/less dumb. >.>

  • Name: The Andromedax
  • Age: Unknown. Her "Earthbound avatar" (if what she says is true) is less than a year old, yet looks to be around her early twenties.
  • Gender: Female, or at the very least takes on a feminine appearance.
  • Appearance: A rather shapely and coldly beautiful woman with short, straight black hair and eyes that glow with a dull green light.
    • Costume (If Applicable): A skintight dark blue suit riddled with a glowing red pattern that ressembles circuitry. It covers her entire body from the neck down, and may actually be part of her body rather than a costume.
  • Personality: Generally cold and unfeeling. According to her own testament, The Andromedax has reached a state where it incapable of expressing any emotional state other than what it considers to be the purest and most advanced of them all: sarcasm.
  • Biography: Somewhere out in space, far beyond our galaxy, is a highly advanced alien artificial intelligence known only as "The Andromedax". As part of whatever it's purpose is, the Andromedax routinely sends out avatars of itself to planets that contain sapient life in order to monitor and study them. It's ultimate goal is unknown, and possibly incomprehensible to the minds of humanity, but for whatever reason, it's avatar has been spotted all around Radio City. She usually does little more than observe what others are doing, but she has been known to actively antagonize humans on occassion.
  • Abilities: The Andromedax avatar is completely intangible, and this seems to be an ability that she cannot switch off. She uses telekinesis to manipulate the physical world (the full extent of her telekinetic powers are unknown, although she has been observed to lift a fully loaded van with little strain). She can also fly (although her lack of a physical presence make this something of a necessity in order to move), as well as split herself off into four copies of herself which will automatically reintegrate after one hour has passed.
  • Equipment: The Andromedax avatar usually relies on her built-in capabilities, and so doesn't carry any additional equipment.
  • Additional Notes: The Andromedax avatar is more of an observer than an antagonist. She's far more likely to simply sit and watch someone go about their business than actually attack them.

As one of those general rules of sanity and fair play, Telekinesis doesn't work on organic matter or anything directly touching it, to prevent ripping out hearts or pacemakers or throwing someone by their clothes.

Approved, though.

#14: Jun 10th 2011 at 2:17:42 PM

Okay, Taco, I don't remember some of the finer details of Bronze Revolver - like his real name (not that it ever came up), but if I stumble across them in my reread of the original Evil Mastermind RPG, I'll edit them. I may also just have changed some things about Bronze Revolver, expanded on a few things, maybe, because at the time I created him it was rather on-the-fly. So...yeah!

Also, I'm thinking of continuing the whole Radio City Super News thing. With Diane replaced by some blonde ditz, and the-guy-Diane-used-to-work-with (John Boi) having taken to alcohol and cocaine. Not because of Diane's death, but because he's a respectable news anchor working with some college slut, damn it.

  • Name: Ben Rentford/Bronze Revolver

  • Age: 24

  • Gender: Male

  • Appearance: Bronze Revolver (or BR, as he is commonly referred to) has a toned figure, in good shape. Ever since his supposed death, though, he hasn't been exactly a 100% flesh anymore - not that he ever was, seeing as he has had robotic legs since he was a child. Now, an eye has been replaced with a camera that can record for up to fifteen minutes of footage and zoom for about two miles. His spine has been repaired and most of his ribs have been replaced, and his right hand is now also robotic - though there's no fancy gadgetry there. He has lost his tan and his hair has been shaved to a buzzcut.

  • Costume (If Applicable): Bronze Revolver has replaced his green delta cloak and brown armour with a more servicable black trenchcoat. The added weight of his robotic prosthetics made the delta fuck up something awful, anyway. It's quite long, reaching down to his knees, to hide the fact that underneath it he now wears plain dark blue Kevlar body armour. He now also wears a black shockproof helmet, with a built-in noise drowner and radio.

  • Personality: Bronze Revolver is still, by and large, the same hero he always was - unscrupulous about breaking legs, a burning passion for erradicating crime because of misplaced daddy issues, and not putting much stock in the police. Things have changed, however. Whereas in the past he might have done goofy things like giving the Vigil a fruit basket for saving his bacon, he's become a bit more serious now. Not stoic, but serious. He can still laugh...it's just that he doesn't often find anything funny enough to laugh at anymore.

  • Biography: Ben Rentford was a normal engineer's son. Pretty normal, anyway. He had polio, sure, and his legs were withered sticks, sure, and he was in a wheel chair, and his father was actually a genius that had built quite a bit of millitary technology in the past twenty years, also sure, but apart from that, completely normal. Then, his father (his mother had split the scene shortly after his birth) was shot by what Ben thought were a couple of hoodlums, but which were actually thugs hired by a big company to take out the freelance genius that was Robert Rentford. His life was rather rough-and-tumble after that - as he was already 18 at the time and his father had left him a sizable inheritance, he could continue earning his engineering degree and in the meantime, pore over the blueprints that his father had also bequeated him. He scavenged quite a bit of technology from it - most of them were blueprints for cyborg limb prosthetics, and a small amount of them was for weaponry.

He'd never know that his father had been running a double deal - selling weapons to millitary forces and PM Cs so soldiers would lose limbs, and also make a profit of selling them prosthetics. He was just a businessman, not a selfless hero.

When he was twenty-two, he began his career as...the Bronze Revolver. Which went alright for like, a year and a half, but somewhere along the timeline of the first Evil Mastermind RPG, he got blown up, along with a news reported name Diane.

  • If returning, what did your character do in the interim?: "Do", not so much. He was busy being patched together again by a rather brilliant young man named Arnold, who had his own reasons for doing so. Fairly well everybody thought he was dead, except his few loyal fans who were confident he was just hiding. Never mind that the police had found two corpses in the remains of his exploded apartment (one Diane's, and the other a vagrant's).

  • Abilities: Bronze Revolver's cyborg legs let him jump pretty high and run pretty fast, and he's a pretty good shot, but that's about it.

  • Equipment: Bronze Revolver has two main weapons, the only thing about him that's still bronze at all, the weapons he takes his name from - two particularly large revolver-shaped guns, which are really a lot more like machine guns than revolver at all. When he needs his hands free, he can take the stocks off and attach them to two shackles on his lower arms, from where he can fire them by way of a radio signal that is transmitted through his helmet (very high-tech! Thanks, Arnold, you little creep!).

  • Additional Notes: TOTALLY NOT BITTER ABOUT THE RADIO CITY SUPER NEWS SLANDERING HIM ALL THE TIME IN WHICH HE WAS DOWN. NOPE.

  • Name: Arnold Buchovsky

  • Age: 19

  • Gender: Male

  • Appearance: Arnold could easily be mistaken for a HIPSTERRRRRRRR - well, he's not, but he's got that mustache, long hair, and shitty t-shirts thing going on. It's all an act. What Arnold is is an introverted lazy genuis and a failed revolutionary. Not a hipster. He does have a penchant for plaid, however, which is what he usually wears - jeans, shitty ironic t-shirt, and a plaid jacket over it.

  • Costume (If Applicable): Nope.

  • Personality: Arnold is introverted, as has been said before, and has trust issues out the asshole. He finds most people tiring and dull, which makes him come off as a bit of an insufferable prick. He is an insufferable prick, though, so that's alright, then.

  • Biography: Arnold grew up with an abusive father and a mother he only saw every second weekend. He had great big plans to install some kind of utopia for smart people - no Hitler-ish "everybody below a certain IQ gets culled" shit, it's just that he wanted everybody below a certain IQ out of radio city. He had such great big plans. For a while, he wore a supervillain costume and tried to start an uprising, having amassed a small army of disillusioned and violent youths.

This kind of backfired when most of them were arrested and a few of them were shot lethally by the police during a crackdown, shortly after he'd taken a very badly injured man into an apartment he'd rented for himself.

  • If returning, what did your character do in the interim?: He patched up Bronze Revolver and also sat agonizingly by the hospital bed of his most trusted lieutenant, Tripple Doggy Dead.

  • Abilities: Nothing much. Well, except for quite extraordinary intellect. Schmott guy up-to-top.

  • Equipment: Equipment? What is he, a supervillain? No ma'am. Arnold is a behind-the-scenes kind of guy.

  • Additional Notes: Gaaaay.

He did think of himself as a hero of a Two Fisted Tale, I'm not surprised he'd use it as an alias... For his alias...

Anyway, approved. Barnack said he'd get a character up, this RP starts Monday a little after 2 or 3 EST, I got a job interview before then.

I guess i can assume this is pretty character oriented, or am i mistaken? Ah, either way, this sounds awesome. I'll be typing up a character soon!

Sorry for the double post, but i figured it might be best to. Wall of Text incoming.

  • Name: Drew Mc Kinley
  • Age: 29
  • Gender: Male
  • Appearance: Tall with a slim and muscular figure, Drew’s hair is snow white, and his eyes are a mixture of very light blue and white in color, which makes them look like ice. He has a scar over the left side of his lip. His appearance in terms of clothing, from the feet down, are white running shoes under blue jeans with a fabric stitched in to make a cross that extends around one leg and along the side of the pants on the same leg that is barely distinguishable. He wears a belt buckle emblazoned with the fleur de lis, and a collared thin fabric shirt under a long sleeve black hoodie, the hood resembling that of Desmond’s from Assassins Creed. This hood is always over his head concealing his eyes, and he wears a desert scarf around his neck.
  • Personality: Incredibly reclusive, silent and overall solitary and it’s not just because he chooses to be. His powers literally force him to be. He can speak and show regular emotion like everyone else, but tends to be overly philosophical when he actually does, assuming it’s important. He deems his past and by extension anything about him not something anyone needs to concern themselves about. His powers, in addition to forcing him to act the way he does, he deems not something he needs to use for active violence. He’ll use it as a defense, sure, but not to harm someone. He will, however, use his revolvers as his main form of combat. While solitary, Drew puts the lives of civilians before his own, which tends to mean he only uses his Ice powers when absolutely necessary. When its Earth, he can just make it recede into the ground again, no problem. When its Ice, it shatters, which might harm a civilian, and he has to cover the hole with Earth. He is also a man of formalities, although since he keeps silent it is hard to tell what me means simpley by gestures, assuming his hood is up. If its down, its a great deal easier, but you'll be hard pressed to find him with his hood down.
  • Biography: Born in Louisiana, Drew led an incredibly good life until his 28th Birthday. He had a girlfriend he was planning to marry soon, a future job as a doctor at a prominent hospital in Shreveport and was currently a nurse nearby his neighborhood in New Orleans. He wasn’t the most popular around, but had many friends whom he would go hunting with often or for the occasional drink, although Drew wasn’t much of one, and a chopper which was his prized possession. Then it all changed with the arrival of his powers. His normally blonde hair turned snow white, his light blue eyes became ice cold, and because he could not control his newfound abilities he killed his girlfriend and anyone in his apartment complex by accident. Because of the state of the building currently, which was to say it was stable but falling apart, the police wrote it off as a freak accident. But Drew knew the truth, and he would never forget those moments, ever. He left and drove… nowhere, really. He had no roots outside of Louisiana, and he had no idea where to go. He drove around, through the U.S. state by state until when he ended up in Missouri at a local diner he caught a whiff of conversation- something about a place called New Radio City. He’d been out of touch with the local news for some time and he had nowhere else to go, so he decided to ask about it. The man he spoke with didn’t know much except it was up in Maine, and after a drink or two later they became fast friends, which initially Drew didn’t want, but warmed up to. So together they rode, finding out more and more about New Radio City along the way… and about each other. The man, Lucas as he was called, wasn’t exactly into much ‘legal’ activity, but wanted to change. Drew was a man with good morals forced into a reclusive state by his powers. Surprisingly, Lucas didn’t care. This cemented the friendship between them, and before long they reached New Radio City. One month later, Lucas had his own bar in New Radio City, and Drew had nothing but a very bad apartment, the clothes on his back, and the curse he bore.
  • Abilities: Drew has the powers of Ice and Earth, but they are used in unique ways. He can mold them somewhat to his will, creating spikes that erupt from the ground and walls to defend him with, as well as to launch him into the air. This can be done with either, but can also be done with both to reinforce it. Earth and Ice function differently for him- While Earth is slow, less powerful and strongly made, Ice is fast, more powerful and fragile. Drew mainly uses these for walls and platforms to cross large gaps. Each element has its unique abilities though: With Earth, Drew can create ramps and slopes with which to jump his bike off of. With Ice, Drew can freeze his hands, feet, etc. to a surface to scale it. Then there are the side effects… bad ones. Firstly, Drew’s skin is incredibly cold to the touch, but hey? At least he can keep his drink cool. The other thing is that Drew has a very advanced version of kinesthetics. That might not be the perfect word to describe it, but as you read this, follow the action I tell you: Close your eyes and put your middle finger to the tip of your nose. That’s it. Drew can sense the locations of objects through the earth, usually in flashes whenever he’s not concentrating on it. This is activated whenever he makes contact with the Earth… like walking. But hey? At least he has a cold drink. It also makes for some odd moments when he’s too drunk to realize he’s not in the room he’s sensing. The span of this power currently is that of a city block in any direction, but details are extremely vague unless he focuses in that direction. Also keep in mind that he can only sense what’s in contact with the Earth or in contact with something that’s in contact with the Earth. He cannot sense objects in the air or water, but if they touched the ground then he could assuming he was trying to sense something at that time.
  • Equipment: Two Revolvers he has in slings like a cop or detective might have under his hoodie, the fleur de lis emblazoned on either side of the handle. He also has his chopper, which was custom built. Top speed would be… forgive me if this is too much, but about 185 MPH. Its built for extreme durability and speed, handlings good but Drew’s Earth abilities make it easier to handle.
  • Notes: Drew has a photographic memory, and PTSD mainly affecting his sleep. Hes a good shot with a revolver, but no Quick Draw Mc Graw, and his powers cannot affect or influence fall damage. He isn't Cole Mc Grath. Hes also more on the superhero line of the spectrum, but due to his not wanting the powers in the first place he doesn't act as one, more of a medic on the sidelines for hero and villain alike. Because he was a nurse and future doctor, he has medical training. He is a huge fan of any spicy foods, prefers incredibly hot room temperature, scalding bathwater, and anything that can make him warmer. Its his way of dealing with the cool skin and overall body temperature, even if he cannot feel it.

That's pretty good. I'm currently a little busy/intentionally distracted by my parents, so can you weigh in, Starbound? I like what I see, though.

THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME! Another thing about him: He cannot stop other Earth attacks, like Andrews. He cannot, to elaborate, make them cease to exist. Because that would be incredibly cheap.

Sorry, i have No Indoor Voice sometimes.

This is how the inevitable exchange would go down:

Andrew: *raises a tiny stalgamite causing Drew to trip* Ha! You tripped!

Drew: *causes a giant stalgamite to go right through Andrew* Ha! You died!

Also, just noticed that their names are Andrew and Drew. As if we needed to make this any more confusing.

He doesn't actually use his powers for combat. He can, but he refuses to.
