Well, Cygan was wondering why there wasn't one, so I made it. I guess we can talk about queer stuff. :3

Oh, and if you're wondering, non-queer folks are welcome too.

TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faer<3
I was looking for a new name between Keira (dark haired) and Kiara (dark)
I hope within ten years people make up decent gender-neutral titles for parents. "Parent" is overly formal but there's no way I'd let my kids call me "par", "non", "mada", "moddy", etc; "ren" sounds passable, I guess, but "renny" sounds off. Likewise, "child" is too formal and doesn't lack the neutrality of "daughter"/"son".
A lot of the current neutral titles either sound awful or are obscure as heck. "Nibling" sounds like a food more than a title.
Both are pretty. "Kiara" probably brings to mind The Lion King for many people, which isn't actually as bad as it sounds since Kiara is a great princess.

The best thing to do is to try them out. You'll find it easy to decide which you prefer when you've heard other people use them a few times.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI already picked Kiara for a new name. Thank you.
Rad. That's a cool name.
When you think about it, it's fun how most trans people get to choose their name. A majority of cis people don't have that experience.
It's pretty cool. When I come out irl, I'll tell them my new name.
My boyfriend knows and he's understanding.
I always thought cis people should be encouraged to change their name too.

Oh! Congratulations!
The awful things he says and does are burned into our cultural consciousness like a CRT display left on the same picture too long. -FighteerEdited by sgamer82 on Dec 30th 2019 at 10:02:18 AM
I actually wanted to change my name to Christopher when I was 6.
I was bothered by my name as a kid (pretty much because the way it yanks my attention is uncomfortable, so a name change wouldn't be a fix) and experimented with a few names and epithets that were mostly just cute kid stuff that nobody took seriously.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI kind of do want to change my name (which despite being maybe-probably non-binary I consider not a gender thing as the name I go by is gender neutral already) but it would be so much bloody effort to inform/convince everyone I know without anything else going on.
Realising these may all be bad ideas.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Given you already kill at PR cosplays, I doubt it.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerNeed to up my satin-stitch game though for the one I'm sewing myself though.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Speaking of cosplays, I'm basically just going to start wearing my hair like Samus now.
Here's a clip of me being a dork.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI'm going to delete my twitch channel because no matter what I do, no matter where I post, no one watches. So, I am just going to delete it.
Have you tried promoting it?

TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerA streamer I follow talked about her experiences from her early streaming days and gave some thoughtful advice to those starting themselves (starting at 46:19).
I should warn you that she yells from excitement pretty loudly at about 55:25 when she finds diamonds.
EDIT: Embed apparently ain't working. Here's a direct link
I think the whole talk is worth a listennote , but it does go on for at least an hour, so here's a few of the important points:
- Unless you already have an audience outside of streaming, you're going to have low viewership when you first start, so going in with big expectations is just gonna leave you frustrated/disappointed, which just worsens the experience for the viewers you do have. So it's best not to pay too much attention to your viewership while streaming.
- Don't give up. It takes a long time to get out of "1-2 Viewer Hell", as she puts it. It took her about a year. Even if you're streaming with no viewers, you're still improving at streaming.
- Getting a friend who's interested in what you're streaming to stream with you might help.
- Luck is unfortunately a big factor in whether or not you get noticed.

I stream sometimes and my girlfriend insists that I'm gonna be spending a lot of time at 0 viewers before I have anything resembling an established following.
... what gets me is that it's zero viewers. I'm not bothered by having few viewers, or even just one. But none? That's disheartening.

I...just hated my body for a long time but I didn't know why. My friend knew before I did.
