Will you be PMing certain season-specific details to interested writers, just like you did last season?
It's just you talking.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."The submission process worked pretty well last time. We haven't made any decisions yet about what we're changing, but I'd guess it'll be similar. My guess is "probably".
So about how long do we have right now to right our spec scripts for season 3? And do I need to PM you for a document listing guidelines like you mentioned giving people for season 2 scripts in the thread you linked me to?
the world is so complicatedYou have multiple months to get these specs in.
I learn about how stories work for the same reason that soldiers learn how to strip a rifle.Yeah, I wouldn't even start writing them yet, cause you have no idea what the plot's going to be.
We'll put out a call. If you're watching this thread, you'll hear it.
Thanks!
the world is so complicatedSo I'm pretty sure this video is canon to Echo Chamber. The official Facebook page linked to this hinting that it's something to tide us over while waiting for season three. This video shows that the layers of meta-fiction are starting to bleed into each other. It's not exactly subtle about it since the host flat out spells it out to you in a way that makes no sense.
Average Joe: "It seems that the things that we once thought were confined to stories are now proving themselves to be reality."
Why does this guy look at these clips and think these people are from fiction? I guess he's just crazy and his mind simply works like that.
I also have to wonder why this guy brought a very nice HD camera to the park just to film him goofing off with his friend/date.
Otherwise, I'm intrigued.

Needs a new signature.Looks like you're correct.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.Is tvtropes getting an ARG now? Oh my.
Look at the ARG page. This announcement already has an entry that hints at something pretty bad. Could be a troll. Or the guy who started this thread might just be an sockpuppet for our Puppetmaster.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.The cracks in the fourth wall were caused by the Plot Hole in To Boldly Flee, and the one person mentioned by Mr. Administrator is The Nostalgia Critic.

Groovy.Nah. Zack is Haruhi, and the one person is mentioned in the video description and Mister Administrator's twitter as being WTFAverageJoe.
The guy threatening Joe... I don't think it's the Admins, since they ordered we Tropers to help him. So there's another party involved in this?
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.This looks good and I can't wait to see what happens next.
Nice theory
So let me get this straight we've seen a guy in chainmail, a sparkly man running, quite possibly a mermaid and a weird pale guy holding an umbrella. (ahem..vampire). I'm going on as obivous limb and suggesting that these are all fictional characters that have become real due to these cracks between reality and fiction. What eactly they are all doing during their time in the real world? I don't know
What exactly happens next? I don't know. I'm not even sure if it was Mr. Administrator or someone else who sent Average Joe the letter about staying out of this because he has no idea what he's getting in to.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.I'm not sure.
Both Tom and Dana seem to be busy working on their own stuff at the moment.
Season 3 might come in the future however, since the recent anniversary for The Wall Will Fall led to this puzzle in the eye though it might mean nothing.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.I kinda figured the whole ARG thing was the end. I think the podcast was meant to replace this.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Well now I feel bad for not paying attention to it.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Yeah, I didn't have nearly enough time to keep following it while it was going on. It's a bit disappointing.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."The ARG forums are still up, and the community is still active.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.Yeah but I do have to note that the ARG never actually addressed any of the major plot points from Echo Chamber outside of having Mr. Administrator as a main character and a few allusions here and there.

I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.I miss Echo Chamber.
So do I, I'm still wondering whether a third season will come or not. That damn cliffhanger.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.So is this dead?
The White Void is shot on location in Mr. Administrator's super secret white void headquarters. The finale will show how we get equipment there.
Last season's spec guidelines are here: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13080030120A02080100
This season's guidelines will strongly resemble them, although of course, the plot cues we'll need to make public will be different.
The third season will be the final chapter in this story. I built the show to have three seasons, and wrote the final episode more than a year ago, so we're just filling in the blanks now.
One of the projects is a podcast about tropes and writing. It's supposed to be a tool for writers who want to learn the trade. More like a workshop, not just an explanation of the tropes (like the trope pages themselves) or a story (like Echo Chamber). It's not Echo Chamber canon, it's just a thing we're trying to add to the site to make it better / more useful / more fun.
I'm currently recruiting for the podcast, so if you're in Los Angeles and wanna help, email me at tom at tvtropes.org. I'm trying to get people with credentials. That is to say, I ought to be the least-experienced person on this podcast.
The other project is super secret. Shhh!
