I suppose one option would be to try turning the game off and on again to see if that clears out some weird bug.
I have a message from another time...Got through. The timing is just unnecessarily strict.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? What are you supposed to do to the fire angels? Anything other than Cherry Tapping with guns or doing the charge thing with the sword hurts you.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? The fire aura can't hurt you during Witch Time.
I have a message from another time...Use your guns to build up magic, use a torture attack, and if they have one, use the angel arm they drop as you won't get hurt using them. Alternatively, use Witch Time on them, they can be attacked then.
Watch SymphogearChances are, if your physical attacks are being repelled or bounced off, Witch Time is generally the way around it, outside of Cherry Tapping with your guns. You may learn a lot of combos, get a lot of weapons, but none of them will ever be as invaluable and important as Witch Time. The Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa accessory, for example, is considered an extremely important item to have since it grants an extended duration of Witch Time if you can master it.
But yes, make sure to practice triggering Witch Time; it becomes more invaluable later on, especially when you start going up against multiple angels of the Second or First Spheres at the same time, or during higher difficulties.

Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets. If you have the Link costume equipped than the master sword can hurt regular enemies without having to use wicked weaves or witch time.
The Link costume also gives you a shield accesorry for free without eating up an equip slot.
Only good if you really love blocking instead of dodging and Witch Time.
It's not like the shield replaces Witch Time. In all honesty, the Link outfit is the strongest one in the game, since it gives you a really strong accessory for free.
I have a message from another time...For me, these games shall at the very least tide me over until the DMC Collection next month. Bayonetta 2 may be my second favorite action game, but DMC 3 remains supreme.
Where does the series rank for you guys?
I always felt that Bayonetta was better then all the DMC games.

Watch SymphogearFor me, it's better than 1 and 2, and slightly better than 4. 3 however reigns supreme over them all.
Nah, 3 is too stiff by comparison.
Watch SymphogearI like DMC, but I'm not sure I like it all that much? I have the HD collection, and am only 1.2 games in, with my save file somewhere in the middle of 3. 1 was an interesting piece of history, though.
I have a message from another time...I keep forgetting that this franchise exists.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!But thanks to Super Smash Bros, I no longer have to remember.
Rodin is in Super Smash Bros now as an Assist Trophy He does his own Wicked Weaves and seems to leave weapons behind after he leaves.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!That'll be interesting.
Gotta say though, DMCV has made me slightly less hyped for this game, as that trailer was absolutely incredible, making me wonder how Bayo 3 will measure up. Plus, the former's battle theme beats all the combat themes from this series:
We Get it, you think an inferior series in terms of gameplay is better then Bayonetta.
You've said so many times and it gets really annoying and patronizing after a while.
Watch SymphogearNow Devil May Cry 5 did have really good trailer, but let's hold on the comparisons until Bayonetta 3 gets a proper trailer.
So anyone think that this game would be the last hurrah for the Bayonetta franchise?
I personally think it's great that one of my favorite game genres (possibly #1 on the list) is getting more games from veteran developers with big budgets.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."So I'm guessing Bayonetta 3 will be a 2019 release? I was expecting to see a trailer at Nintendo's E3 conference yesterday, but there was nothing. I've heard that said conference was dedicated to 2018 games, and that 2019 games would be saved for a later date.
We did get something Bayonetta-related, at least. She's returning in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Here's her character trailer from the official website...
Was really looking forward to Bayo 3 news, although DMC 5 getting announced and the Nintendo conference showing us Daemon Ex Machina tided me over for crazy action I suppose.
It does look like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta will be going head-to-head with releases for the first time... It was meant to be.

Bleye knows Sabers.
I have. Not letting me through.
Maybe something went wrong and I fucked up the flags? I hit the statues first thing before even seeing the door.
