Yeah. But hey, I'll give it till next episode until it all blows over and things go back to normal. Because they are gonna miss Brian eventually and the common populace of Quahog is about as intelligent as a wet sack of potato chips.

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefThis episode made me win back Brian, for those who thought he was a big Jerkass in the later seasons. Yes he was once likable, but you can't help but find him to be the The Woobie here, because everyone including the Griffins' friends, are mad at him and his family. I was shocked that it didn't reset in the end. There's going to be a three-parter arc with Brian, so this should be interesting.
Is it wrong that I kinda wish something bad would happen to Quagmire right about now? I tolerated Cartman's incessant booing of Wendy when she tried to get something across, because he's funny enough to get away with it, but not that skinny-necked hypocritical STD factory.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefI guess I'll have to watch this episode and the follow up if it really took such an unexpected turn.
I stopped keeping up with the "Animation Domination" episodes as they were coming out awhile ago.
Family Guy is clearly just having fun with the characters and world it's built up over all these years. I'm glad to see it's still moving along, though it's a lot more cynical now.
3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541Of all the times Brian's gone and Bunglepuss'd his attempts at scoring some trim, this is pretty up there in the latest ep. Then again she did wind up assaulting him, so that certainly won't help her case.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefIs it me or has this season started way late in the year?
Brian mangles Rupert beyond repair and his and Stewie's friendship is on the rocks, and Peter goes through that tried and true "never wash this hand again" routine after shaking hands with some guy in a Boo Berry suit.
Honestly the end was a little warming.

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefYep, this is another example of the show Win Backthe Crowd.
Even the subplot was a better version of TTG's Hand Zombie episode. It didn't grossed me out that much and it was actually funny.

Facebook Family Guy said this would be their "most huge adventure yet". Fuckin' better be...
H.B. WardThat was a good episode. It was nice that Brian started to understand Stewie better.
3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541They are pluggin this 200th (300th?) episode like mad. They even have a Family-Guy-Yourself website where you can customize an avatar to look like you in the style of the show tied to promote it!

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Not for the faint of heart.
Definitely for fans of The Raid.
So I feel like I'm one of there few that has always preferred Family Guy to South Park. SP's humor felt less pleasant and meaner to me, like the worse Meg episodes of FG except they're most of the show, and despite all that hate the middle seasons of FG got for cramming politics down the viewers' throats, SP does it at least as often and in that case they're politics I vehemently disagree with at that.
There's still things about FG I won't defend though, like the "accidentally bombing a hospital" and "vomiting for five minutes straight after sleeping with a transwoman" """"""""""""jokes."""""""""""""
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."I've always preferred Family Guy to South Park too. I haven't really been keeping up with either lately, but I agree, Family Guy gets called out for inserting politics, even though South Park makes it the main plot way more often, and in the same ham-fisted (or more) way.
I recall reading though, that SP has been getting criticized for hamfisted politics more in recent years and they've decided to roll it back starting with the upcoming season.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Having seen some of the recent episodes, I find one of the more enjoyable aspects about Quagmire being his passion for his job. See "Veteran Guy".
@Great T: Sorry to reply to a months old post, but I think a problem with Quagmire is that he used to be extremely zany and over the top, which dumbed down a lot of the Black Comedy of his horrible antics. Hell this was true for most of the show early on, it was just way more cartoony which really filed down the cruel edge it occasionally had.
Right now, Quagmire is a strangely juxtaposing personality, he's still a Refuge in Audacity rapist, but he's also The Straight Man of the guys now, always acting lucid, and curmudgeonly and impatient to their stupid antics and even trying to take a pedestal whenever they do something immoral. He's all but what he complains Brian was right now.
This is my problem with most of the more lucid characters right now, while the goofballs of the show like Peter at least revel in how cartoonishly dumb and anarchic they are, characters like Lois and Qugmire are still immoral but actually have the nerve to preach at people (often for hypocritical reasons) and don't have the same humour value about it as they do (and are usually a Karma Houdini as a result making them even more odious). They're just dull priggish weasels, but the show often still tries in earnest to make them The Straight Man.
For all people complain about Meg and Brian, they are at least the characters that have been stuck in their shtick long enough that they've started to Deconstruct it for humour (ie. Brian just being played flat out as an egotist, and Meg starting to get more and more moments of revenge). Lois in spite of decay is still played as the long suffering wife and Quagmire's just gone some real awkward place right now.

Could just be optimism, but maybe they feel it's a better characterization for him?
I'd like to say, as much as I cannot stand Brian, I always love the episodes when he's paired with Stewie (except the one when he was acting like an ass to Stewie because of his book).
I remember feeling so bad for Chris in the episode when he dated a Lois look a like. He knew she was cheating on him, but he only allowed it because he witnesses his parents marriage. It's sad.

And both his grandmothers cheated on their husband. Seems the Dysfunctional Family is an In the Blood thing. Maybe that's why Carter's such a prick-his own parents were obnoxious to him. And Francis doesn't get along with Peter not just because he's not his son, but because he reminds him of his dumbass father Josiah "wanted Bugs Bunny to be named Ephraim the Retarded Rabbit" Griffin
Actually, that part of not being his father makes me wonder why his ancestor Nate Griffin looks like Peter. He's the only ancestor we see physically(through a photo) instead of Peter's retelling, so it can't be swept off the rug as being part of his imagination. Is Mickey one of Francis' Scottish cousins or something?
Like Meg, Chris is unpopular & an outcast in HS.
When it comes to the whole unfair sex thing, I can now see why Lois cheats on Peter. Lois isn't satisfied with her marriage to Peter (it's for good reasons too). That's not an excuse for Lois to act like such a hypocrite for the times that Peter cheats though.
Yeah, I think these retcons are made on a whim without really thinking about how it would affect Peter's relations.
Huh, didn't thought they would end the episode like that.
