My pelvic floor.
Yeah, that's right. That's what I'm leading with.
...
Gymnastics, dance and/or yoga, mate. None will totally get back the lost, but they can certainly help.

I should at least get better about doing the daily 100 Kegels.
Does anyone really do that? At least I floss every night...
Um... not the whole number, always.
But: no full-term pregnancy, here, so... it's not much of a concern for me. (Just the one... little tragedy that didn't manage to put much strain on my physicals. Had the little one just been a few years later in trying to come, his heart would have been able to get help via keyhole surgery.)

Oh, I'm so sorry... :(
I can't understand what you felt, of course, just because you're a person who is not me... but I've been on the edge of that scenario — I got off lucky with 11 weeks of soul-rending bedrest... I would not wish it on my worst enemy. :/
It happens. I hadn't had time to settle on a name, so... I didn't bond enough to get as badly affected as I could have done.
Also, I'm a bit weird: I took my Gran's advice from her Gran: "Don't fully decide on a name for the bairn until they're crying. For you don't want to be morning in the case they're one of the dying." Old fashioned. But, it worked (and, yes: there are recurring heart issues of various types in the family and a bias towards rhesus negative ... this advice is still sound, even today — complications can stack up).

I think I like that lady. :)
Same source gave the family "live in hope, but not expectation", "not so spicy as a fruitcake" and "if wit were shit, you'd be constipated".
Great-great-granny Francis-Jane (or Francesca Jane: we have both for her first two names): keeping it real. Even if her recipe for jugged hare makes you wish she occasionally hadn't. <gags>
See? I do like her. I have long thought expectation is the source of so much unncessary pain.
ETA: Jugged... hare? Is "jugged" another word for potted meat?

I miss having the voice to impersonate The Cheat.
I miss when we still had a decent amount of time to stop climate change and it wasn't bearing down on us like it is now.
I miss when the ZZT community was still big.
I miss when there were more viable desktop PC standards than just IBM Compatible.
I also miss Pre-Google Youtube.

"I'll show you all of Paris, I'll take you on a tour, we'll go up and up and up so high they'll long for an encore!"Definitely the last one.
I also miss when kids shows didn't have child/teen protagonists for every single show.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseThe reason for that is probably because they want kids to identify with the leads. Well, when I was a kid, I saw the gang on Hogan's Heroes and the crew on Star Trek TNG as my peers.

Fresh-eyed movie blogExactly.
Kids don't want to be like kids, they want to be like adults.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseWhat's often successful is the very next stage of life. Middle school shows for elementary schoolers, high school shows for middle schoolers, college shows for high schoolers, etc.
I know that as a middle schooler, I was more interested in Sabrina The Teenage Witch episodes from the high school seasons than the college seasons.
Fresh-eyed movie blogWell, I didn't watch much TV when I was a kid.
I mostly watched Looney Toons.
That's one reason I like kids' shows nowadays, except for the fact that most of the new ones are stupid.

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseOne thing I miss is Humpty Dumpty Grilled Cheese and Ketchup chips, They were so good and when I found out they didn't make them anymore I was so cheesed off (no pun intended.) Lays actually temporally released that flavor for a contest, but it sadly didn't last long as well :(
I miss Hearty Mix Cracker Jack'd snacks and Spam Singles.
"I'll show you all of Paris, I'll take you on a tour, we'll go up and up and up so high they'll long for an encore!"1. Green Apple flavored Gushers
2. PB Crisps
3. 2D films. They take heart to create. Sure they take a lot of money too, but still.
4. Several cartoons I will not name
5. Being able to see the stars at night.

'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'- Being able to finish a video game in a single sitting. (None of this "2700 hours of game play" crap.)
- Never having to say, "My entire right side hurts because I slept wrong."
