Ultra is once again forced to interact with people she finds utterly repellant.

I think Henry is going to need some special substance of his own to get through the day.

I'll try to work on Room 509 soon Masterofchaos, but there are other matters I've got to get to as well, so we'll see.

~Pyxo, are you out there? It's been your turn in the dining area for a bit now.

Edit: just finished the box of ancient drawings I was scanning. With minimal rescanning, it came out to almost 700 scans◊.

...and I'd be reluctant to share most of it 😅

I had quite a hectic week. Studying for an exam that I really needed to pass, stressed over it, and the two-day blackout did not help matters. Things are better now, I thankfully didn't have to post this from mobile

I only go so far as to say reluctant to share. Going through these old pictures has transported me back to a time when all of my story ideas were just vague gestures heavily inspired by whatever media I was consuming. I wanted to capture big emotions that resonated with me, but I didn't do any of the work to get there. To an outside viewer, it might seem rough, but neat. To me, it looks like insubstantial pretentious shlock that isn't even elevated by decent artistry, and I made it, so it's kind of embarrassing. On the plus side, coming to that realization is a large part of the reason I got more invested in writing.

All the same, there is a fairly consistent line of improvement throughout, and a few pictures I'm still fond of even now. It's important to keep in mind one's ability to get better. Without my past self's overriding enthusiasm, I may have given up on my creative endeavors.

If I ever get enough time to do a digital scrapbook, maybe I'll share it here.

Okay, finally added a Room 509 bit to my last post, Masterofchaos.

I added something for Adventure II.

Oh man. If Alice's... well, Alicing caused too much disruption in the Hotel Lobby, I could certainly tone it down to be less deranged. I just figured, while she usually has to pretend to be no worse than mildly eccentric to keep her status in her usual social circles, she'd exploit an opportunity to let loose.

I'm just waiting on Will then Chortleous. That said, I probably won't be able to post until after next Tuesday. Got a ton to do over the weekend.

Also, I'm not sure much of what Alice has said will have significant bearing on Joseph or Henry, who are well out of their depths as is.

I'll post for Room 509 when I can; I got sick again so I'm recovering, lol.

Dang, that sucks. Hope you feel better soon, and do take your time. Again, if I post anything here before Tuesday, I've probably made a very bad decision.

As a note, I did actually cut down a bit on Alice's unimportant Info Dump.

With regard to Hilbert Inn outside eating/sparring area, I've exchanged messages with NoItsBecky who is busy, doesn't have anything to contribute at the moment, and is happy for everyone to just carry on.

Given that pretty much all that's happened since I last posted amounts to less than 2 seconds of combat, I really don't have anything to contribute, either.

So it looks like ~KillerClowns and ~Chortleous are free to carry on their sparring for a spell and I'll interject when I figure enough has happened for Wolf to have an opinion on the sparring match or something.

Will try to post tomorrow.

Little hazyheaded from spending the weekend learning entirely more Unity under entirely more pressure than I'd like, but I'll leave the door open to possibly posting something or other tomorrow. Today? Yesteryear?

Glad to hear! I'm hopefully coming out of a stressful period myself soon. A couple more things to do elsewhere and some midterms coming up, but just this past week I was giving myself a crash course in game development last-minute crunch, and I'm finally through with it...

Working on Ultra's side of the reception conversation, and beginning to wonder if she would break away to follow annoying science lady, even if for a moment—she is 100% that kind of person. No stone unturned, and KillerClowns is clearly trying to tempt someone into doing it.

Mort's taken a jab at Gabe in the Hilbert Inn sparring match and I've really got nothing to contribute to the thread at this point.

Working on a good response to that, too.
