Alright. I've done it.
Man, Mythra is getting roasted so bad, no wonder she turned herself into a Fire type blade.
T'was the only way to get burn immunity.
I like the Vanguard system. It certainly widens the scope of battle. It's gonna be hard to remember everything to be honest.
One Strip! One Strip!Just remember what Driver Combo effect each swap uses. You'll get used to it.
Came back to this game after a while and finally got Vale, completing my rare Blade collection. And now I never have to roll for anything in this game ever again.
Heart of StoneAnd yeah, I'd also say do Torna first. More new content and characters to deal with. Also, if you don't want to get bottlenecked later, make sure you do sidequests as they come up.
Reaction Image RepositoryI've been doing just that. I took care of all the side quests on the island I started on and just got to Gormott.
Gonna talk to everybody in the harbour then make my way to Torigoth.
Trying to be smarter about filling my Affinity chart as well.

One Strip! One Strip!Also...and this is kinda a dumb question....how do I switch which team I control?
I can't figure it out at all. It should be the same as the main game right?
One Strip! One Strip! You will be able to do it once Hugo joins.
Where there's life, there's hope.Ah. that explains it.
One Strip! One Strip! And I got Hugo, so now I can switch.
Random question: should I take Lora with me for the next storyline part, or leave her and pick her up later?
One Strip! One Strip! You cannot progress unless you leave her.
Where there's life, there's hope.Well, that's that.
....I might take her and take care of any quests I have and then put her back.
One Strip! One Strip! You probably don't want to leave your party with missing members anyway, so go through with the story immediately.
Anyway, right now one of my biggest issues is that I'm killing enemies a bit too fast. I can't try out all the different abilities.
I think I'm levelling up too much again. I'll probably slow it down this time.
One Strip! One Strip! That's normal for Torna actually. Don't worry about it, you're at the point designed for two squads at partial strength. As soon as you advance the story a bit more you'll find fights take a bit longer.
Phew this game. They sure love reminding you that Mythra is powerful and lacks impulse control don't they?
I guess since it's no secret, they don't feel the need to hide it.
Lora saying Mythra is trying to hold herself back just makes it worse.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah...early DLC Mythra is kinda terrifying.
I like how that also reflects in her gameplay, with all her Arts (aside from being her Specials in the main game) being indiscriminate AoE attacks that are liable to aggro more enemies than you really want around if you aren't careful
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaMythra's arts (and Brighid and Aegeon's) are actually her specials from the main game
Heart of Stone
Sadly enough, she ended up terrifying herself to the point where she literally created a sister who was everything she thought she wasn't....who was also scared shitless of their power.
...Mythra and Pyra have issues.
One Strip! One Strip!TBF Mythra actually is holding back quite a lot during Torna and seeing her completely letting loose really is quite intimidating
Heart of StoneYep, I noted that in my post!
She tries but she's still got a really haphazard fighting style even while holding back. I think in both the main game and Torna Brighid calls her out on being "undignified" or something to that effect.
Even her cooking's Unskilled, but Strong, come to think of it.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaSo...
I'm just at the part where Malos says he's going to attack the Capital of Torna.
Still have to go there, but that's the next part of the story.
Random question: am I currently able to do chain attacks, or is that something that will also get a tutorial?
Plus I think I need to practice using Talent Arts as well. I'm still forgetting about them.
Guess I'll start with Team Lora first.
One Strip! One Strip! The game will tell you when you can start using Chain Attacks.
I think that's after Minoth joins

Where there's life, there's hope.
Happy birthday.
I'd say do Torna first because the campaign is shorter than the main game's NG+ and extra contents.
