"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaGood shit
hope they keep producing episodes every now and again.
Figures the only thing about the series people like is from Mania lol.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does."Only thing" is hyperbole, but more Mania shorts are cool indeed.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh. As far as the games go, I think he's more-or-less on the nose.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."(6)
Ballin.
I was always Comics > Games for the former's stories, and actual use of the Power Rings as a plot device instead of just a collectible with no meaning, and for the Super Forms continuing to matter and having their power sets expanded on.
That said, reviewing some things like Mobius 20 Years Later, and Sonic Universe, and the Princess Sally spin-offs, yeah, the storytelling was messy. That's just the Archie side of things never mind Fleetway with the insane, Kid Buu-esque Super Sonic.
Crossing over with Megaman was great, the "Super Genesis Wave" was a fun way to soft reboot things and if they'd stayed that way I'd have been fine. I'm not happy that the Freedom Fighters are gone just because of he-who-shall-not-be-named-nya.
That said, Tangle, Whisper, and Blaze aren't a bad replacement. And the art of the IDW comics is unde-f-cking-niably gorgeous. The pacing is slow but, for a new generation of readers, it's more or less like watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood - slip through the first 4-6 episodes of expositional recap and you're gold.
I don't really care about Classic and Modern getting divvied up. I don't think many would disagree that having two splintered franchises would be better than just one, and Flynn sounds eager about doing a Classic Sonic book (you know for altruistic reasons besides the extra money). Sonic Mania Adventures proves that there's somebody in SEGA's marketing division that still understands what gave Sonic the most appeal.
If anything this harder reboot was probably for the best. A clean slate for a cleaner future.

¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"amy dlc when sega
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaAmy is the most pure, good and cute thing that I have seen all day.
Amy taking Metal Sonic back to Eggman's base even after the trouble he caused to her says a lot, doesn't it?
In other news, IDW is prepping a Sonic the Hedgehog Annual for 2019!

So whens the Amy DLC.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Classic Amy was so underutilized in the main series and I'm really glad she's getting the spotlight.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Classic Amy? Nice.
Team Mania, that's bank waiting to happen. What are you waiting for?
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh. On Classic Amy, I wouldn't mind if they casually retcon her age. It's always odd remembering that Amy is eight and Sonic is fifteen/sixteen/eighteen/whatever. They seem closer in age.
I wouldn't mind that. I always found that was an odd product of the time.
Amy's probably got the most interesting lineage out of the bunch. From an obscure manga damsel, to a design Sega liked, to a role in CD with bit parts in side games, then a redesign for Adventure and onward. Not to mention her iconic hammer was the result of an arcade fighting game that just stuck.
"No will to break."Yea, it's easy to forget that Amy is a Canon Immigrant technically.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Amy's Leitmotif is (Japanese) Collision Chaos, where she made her first in-game appearance!
I fully support Sega using Classic-era themes as character themes, or mixing them in with the modern themes if they so choose.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Technically, Amy's first appearance was in Palmtree Panic (Present), though since that is skippable by the main gimmick of the game, most people probably first saw her in Collision Chaos.
But it's kind of funny that the zone she got kidnapped in is her leitmotif for this short.
I do writing, feel free to check out my stories here! https://numbugwritingblog.tumblr.com/post/686233243868102656/numbugs-shared-heroic-uniShort was good!
Steam Winter Sale is on so I was thinking of nabbing Sonic Adventure 2 and Forces. I am a little concerned over, I remember SADX being fairly shabby for a PC port (and I ended up installing the BetterSADX mod for it). And with Forces, you know, I'm curious and kind of itching to try it for myself, but I'm expecting it to be a little naff.
If I go for the latter I'll be sure to come and show you all my cool OC. Whether you want me to or not!
Short was cute.
But everyone just now lives on Angel Island it seems lol
I mean, if Eggman wants to keep building bases there, Sonic's free to just chill, run around, and keep thwarting him.
Just announced: Sonic Mania Adventures has one more episode coming out, and it seems to be Christmas-themed.
