NBCUniversal has announced details for Peacock today, including a lot of DreamWorks movies and shows that will make it on the service. In addition, turns out DWA's deal with Hulu may apparently end after Abominable, as Peacock will host first-run rights to their films from Trolls World Tour onward.
(*fears for what will happen to any DWA shows on Netflix*)
Nothing will happen to them. Netflix paid for them, so they'll stay in there. Dreamworks has shows in many streaming services.
Also, hey, Cleopatra in Space has a permanent home now.

Trolls World Tour moves to April 10.
Many Universal movies set to be released in theaters, including their Dreamworks movies like Trolls World Tour, will also be available on demand the day of theatrical release.
That could be the new normal if this keeps up for two months. The theatre will be a relic or something for a special experience as people avoid theaters and upgrade home viewing experiences.
Is "Rescue Riders" completely Alternate Continuity from the main "How to Train Your Dragon" series?

Calling it now, Barb and Thrash in Trolls World Tour are decoy villains and the real villain is the country music Troll.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Cleopatra In Space comes out April 15 on the Peacock streaming service. I just want to remind everyone that the show premiered in Asia on November 25.
I wonder if the show will drop weekly or if they'll release the season entirely.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Spirit: Riding Free is apparently doing better than you'd think. It's getting a film.
So, Trolls: World Tour is doing a lot better than anyone expected after going the direct-to-VOD route...but it seems to have put Universal on AMC's blacklist, for once theaters become open again, AMC theaters will NOT be showing any films from Universal or anyone that decided to send their big new movies to streaming platforms.
Ummmm...oh no? I use a question mark because this doesn't feel particularly dire...
That seems...remarkably petty, especially considering there wasn't much else they could do.
x2 So... AMC is just not going to be showing movies anymore (considering almost all Studios are doing that)? That's a very roundabout way of going out of business...
Have they realized that they're going to be losing Disney in that ultimatum?
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. So far only Universal has officially floated the idea of doing simultaneous releases after theaters reopen. I'm sure other studios are considering it, though, and AMC's announcement is a warning shot for those studios.
Disney released Onward to video on demand but only after theaters shut down. They've only announced delays to their feature releases, not VOD releases.
Like with Diamond and DC this is a huge threat to a powerhouse in AMC.
Mileena MadnessAnd now, Regal Cinemas is joining AMC Theaters' strike against the age of streaming.
Er...why do I get the feeling this will end about as well as the Canadians going on strike in that one episode of South Park?
This seems like they're shooting themselves in the foot considering most movie companies are sending their stuff online for the pandemic.
Likely avoiding others from jumping ship.

Just finished watching Kipo, the animation was a bit weird at times and it's a bit annoying the season ended on a cliffhanger but overall I enjoyed it.
