(Kim promptly notices the woman in front of her, as well as the Klinklang, and stops herself from approaching the ship.)

Kim: (smirks with determination) “Hold it right there; I think I just found them.”

(She returns Paul to his PokeBall and steps forward.)

Kim: “Greetings... whoever you are. Kimberly Bond, lingual consultant. I’m looking for someone who is a Monese expert... are you one? Or at least, do you know someone who is?” (she takes out her notebook) “If so, where are they? I’m willing to take notes.”

Stormchaser, yesterday

-To Sqirps-

I don't think Izaya has a Necrozma, but a piece of one.

Flamel Base

Des: "Right, sorry. -turns to Halis- uh, who are you?"

Lita: "Oh that's my friend Halis. They are a bun sometimes."

Des: "I see, don't go around mentioning that to people, ok? Our secret? -he turns back to Flamel- joining the J-Team, huh? Well if I can get in I don't see why you can't join. What's your story?"

C, meanwhile, is already grovelling.

C: "Teach me your ways, oh ancient one."

-Kaiiseii yips.-

Kaiiseii: "Binding circles..."

-He, Jessica, and Isbrand tense up.-

Shaun: "Alright, give us Pent and the girl and I won't rip your intestines out your throat."

Isbrand: "Goes faster with a Porygon, huh?"

Gabrielle: "Indeed. He saves a lot of time and effort."

Zelel: <Inquiry: have you two carbon-based lifeforms forgotten I am in the same room?>

Gabrielle: "Hush or I'll force you into a smart fridge."

Isbrand: "I'll have to pull up the Chaser's specs. See if we got anything on the others too. Very least, I'll aim to clean up the inside. Add some armaments, new coat of paint, maybe slap some of my experimental tech on. She'll be more of a warship than a barracks."

-he brings Fuka inside. It is... very colorful with a very wide variety of clothes. There's someone digging behind the reception desk-

Squirps: Hmmm... Given the reports of a Dusk Mane Necrozma, he potentially used that fragment to create an artificial Necrozma... this still calls for desperate measures. Necrozma's energy will hasten the collision of the multiverse.

-He starts fumbling around for a few things-

Flamel: <I'm the legendary Nicolas Flamel! I wasn't born there but I did most of my best work in Kalos. Though... They tend to try and depict me as human. Patience, there, grovelling one.>

-The woman stops her thwacking to give Kim a funny look-

Woman: -in a thick [GERMAN] accent- Monese expert? I know a thing or two about monese... You want me to build you a translator or something?

Klingklang: <Please be careful who you offer that to.>

(Kim smiles.)

Kim: “A translator would be nice, but I’m much more the kind of person who likes to learn things on my own. Let me rephrase the question: do you know of anyone who teaches Monese? Or can?”

They look at Des suspiciously, before looking back at Flamel.

Halis: "Eh, don't worry. If there's one thing I've known, it's that both sides of the human/mon interaction should be as equals... and never let anyone say otherwise."

A wild Halis appears from the rummaging!

Halis: "Wasn't there, either... uhh..."

They see the newcomers, and wave at them.

Halis: "Ohhh hey, welcome to the place! The place with the stuff! And things!"

Ersatz Alliance, Past

While Jared is doing his thing, Fuka finds herself distracted by both the novelty of a clothing store inside an airship and the contents of said clothing store.

Fuka (thinking out loud): I wonder if they have Pokemon clothes here. Maybe matching wristbands for Elanor.

Macraulloween

From the safe room, the oddly-colorer umbreons look at one another and did almost anthropomorphic nodding gestures.

Darwin: <Yes, we should escort them back upstairs. It wouldn't sit right by anyone that a guest of the Macraul family has to stay in this dump. Its audio system doesn't even have surround sound. Our masters are many things, but skinflint hosts are not among them.>

Lamarck: Indeed. Would you like to be escorted back upstairs? My siblings and I shall provide whatever cover we can provide. Also try the bonbons. We're not allowed to eat chocolate, but humans in general seem to like them.

Her snout points to a plate full of bonbons.

Gaspard looks onward, having observed the group from a distance. He still couldn't make heads or tails about what was happening (especially the boat, which if he recalled was nowhere near where it should be in this demented caricature of his home cit), though he shuddered to think what that demented morpeko had in store for his cousins. The J-Team were the ones to aid now, he seemed to reason, and for more reasons than the situation at hand.

Gaspard: I dunno about this you guys but for some reason I feel compelled to help them.

Wallace: <Sir, are you sure about this? Your parents will not like this at all.>

Gaspard: Well, think of it this way, I'm not helping the J-Team for their benefit. It's for my cousins.

Mendel: <I'm pretty sure the kid dressed up as a warlock and a few other fellows here are actually Mobius grunts. I recognise their scents. You sure that you're not walking into one of Dr. Kultiman's elaborate thefts?>

Gaspard: Well, I guess we have to stop them when that happens, and what better way to keep an eye on them.

Linne: <Well, sir. If you mean to watch them, might I suggest doing so at a safe distance?>

Haeckel: <Heck yes!>

The Stormchaser

For months, Beck has lived in a cozy room in the Stormchaser that had two doors. One was his bathroom door. The second, which he has ignored, he assumed to be a disused closet that none of the other staff members could open. Pity, too, since he really wanted the extra storage space.

As he retired after another day of doing odd errands around the ship, he noticed that the door was not locked, which felt both strange and welcome, since if he could use this closet, he can get a bit more room for his things.

He tried to open it. Almost immediately, he was greeted by the annoying Orange Islands boy and his gogoat he met a couple of days back. They lived next door.

Galen: Howdy, neighbor!

Beck: Bloody hell.

Galen: Well, whaddya know. Connecting rooms!

'Jules: Hey. Maybe you should go join those other fellas surveying the newly acquired capital craft.

Galen: Sweet, can I come?

Beck: Oh, Arceus—

Jules: Sure you can. Just remember about the rule about not showing Sterling in the camera.

Galen: Witness protection. Gotcha. Thanks, talking vikavolt!

(Kim smiles.)

Kim: “Thank you! Thank you so much! Seriously, you have no idea how long I’ve been looking for a-”

(Beat. She tilts her head.)

Kim: “Wait. The... J-Team?” (she writes that down) “Who is this J-Team you speak of; where are they; and where can I find them?”

Halis: "We have scarves, armbands, plenty of stuff really... not gonna say if any of it is meant to do that, of course, but if it happens to, that's a nice little bonus for you."

They pull out a book, setting it on... nothing as it just floats there casually, flipping through it a bit.

Halis: "I believe what you'd want is... over there."

They point to a nearby display rack.

Halis: "If you need help with anything else, do feel free to ask, that's what I'm here for."

Correct Lumiose Warehouse

If you're the one behind the sabotage of the party, Colton started. Doubtless your name has some sort of tie to the series that that Morpeko is from. The thing is, I have some idea of what name to guess, but I don't spoil anything for anything.

"Just say it!" Sylveon sighed, head in her hand. "It's not like you've played the game yourself!"

"... Wouldn't it be too easy if that were her name?" Ammy asked, hand twirling Colton's hair.

Nimbasa Big Stadium

Holding her pom-poms, Alexa danced alongside her fellow Pokemon, cheering the athletes on. Tsuki (Buneary) was copying her movement perfectly. Musubi (Emolga) has more difficulty copying Alexa than Tsuki, but it still brought an enthusiastic energy with it. Hotaru (Liligant) instead opted for a slow and graceful dance.

-Ian the Witch thinks long and hard about the mysterious figure's name-

Me: -thinks to self- He appears to be a woman of wealth and taste... and he wants us to guess her name... this is familiar in two respects...

-Just then, Ian the Witch snaps his fingers-

Me: Of course!

-Ian looks over to Colton-

Me: Colton! It's just like that fairy tale! We'll just have to wait until either her or Monopeko's tongues lets the name slip! I mean, It's not like she's giving us a set amount of guesses...

Lita sighed and looked back to Halis.

Lita: "So how's life?"

Isbrand: "Long story. But my parents, friends, and lovers all died. Though I'm not sure what happened to my home timeline. Was it erased, or did I simply save this branch?"

Kalos Warehouse

Jessica: -deadpan- "Rumpelstiltskin."

Viridian

Woman: Name's Alex! And the J-Team is a group of travelling Trainers! Who own those airships.

Flamel Base

Flamel: <Why thank you!>

-He looks to Halis-

<Perhaps we should invite this one aboard too?>

Mobile Base

Mahina: Oh. That's... I'm sorry.

Mobile Base

-Isbrand shrugs.-

Isbrand: "Eh. Got my parents back even though they're both younger than me, got like, five girlfriends and I love them all, and my brother and I are...mostly intact, physically."

Viridian

(Kim writes the name down.)

Kim: “Alex, you said it was...? Delighted to meet you. I’d like to meet some of these... J-Team members. I’ll need a list of all acting participants.”

(Beat.)

Kim: “And your last name.”

Halis: "Oh, life's good... though I am curious about something now. Don't know what that something is, but it's definitely something."

They look at Flamel.

Halis: "I should point out that I basically live on this ship, the Stormchaser, at the moment, so... if anything, I should be the one inviting you."

They have a plan in mind for figuring out what that slip-up was about... or, at least, enough to get started.
