Route 224

Now, Route 224 is often called the Sinnoh region in miniature, and also as the home of Shaymin. Once again we found ourselves here, but unfortunately making declarations of friendship on white rocks with a friend while covered in Shellos was not on the table. As we walked through the tall grass, the mons paying us really no attention due to well, being wisped.

Well, most of them anyway. Ghost types, Duskull and Duskclops looked at us much as the Sableye did, which was probably pretty lucky for us. On the other hand, the Natu affixed us with that same creepy Natu stare that I've never been able to fully get used to. Of course, Xatu was busy staring back at them. Out of all my mons, I think I probably understand Xatu the least, and out of the mons on my person I've had him for the longest. Compared to the others he was just so...alien. Obviously the bird was working on a much higher level than the rest of us.

When we reached the area actually containing the rock, I could see that the vegatation that appeared when DS and I visited here months ago was still present, though as always, the way to the Seabreak Path was absent. (One of these days, I really ought to come back here with a Gracidea.) I walked up to the rock and traced my hands on it until I found back my statement of gratitude made before...everything happened. My mood also soured a bit when I realized that soon after I'd dug up the Keystone that lead to this whole mess.

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.
