-J-Con is in full swing, numerous panels are occuring and Camoflage Circuit has just finished their set. The white-haired teen is wandering around with a showbag in tow and is heading for the door to the backstage area for some reason-

-Meanwhile, elsewhere on the showfloor, the Black-Clad Fangirl is wandering around trying to find Pent. The reason is pretty clear for anyone who know's Pent's backstory-

Silent watches Maekrite being sent flying pretty much half the legth of the arena.

"FRIGGIN DRAGONITES!!!!"

Maekrite claws himself to the ground and manages to brake himself after a couple of meters. His entire left flank is bruised.

Maekrite — <U-ugh.... that's like the second greatest pain I've felt in my entire life...> — shakes head, trembles.

"Got yourself back up yet, Maekrite? I need your help for this one..."

Maekrite — <I can handle it...>

"Fine then... we can't cause status effects so... Hone Claws ahead with a Leer, prepare yourself for an attack barrage though."

Maekrite looks back at Silent; they share a brief, knowing stare and then Maekrite runs towards the pool, once there he Hones Claws and gives Dragonite a mini Inka Stare™.

-searching for the convention centre-

Pummelo Stadium - Arena

Dragonite: *glares back, staring deep into Maekrite    SOUL   *

Drake: Dragonite, charge up a Thunderbolt.

With a roar of acknowledgement, the dragon Pokemon began to flail its antennae, electricity crackling ominously in the air.

Orchid: <Rrrr...can't see...> *fidgeting around, trying to keep her eyes on Maekrite*

- Sierra hears a voice from somewhere in the tall grass, it turns out to be a male Plusle telling a female Minun about an elaborate plan to find trainers involving duct tape, a disco ball, an empty bottle and a Pecha Berry, only for the Minun to point out that they can just walk up and challenge the trainer like all the other wild Pokémon -

Plusle: <... Sure, if you want to do the same thing everyone else does.>

Mawile: <Hmm... Pokémon Contests? Yes, that does indeed sound like something for me!>

Slateport City, one quick trip by air later

-Mezzo swoops down on Dreadwing and crashes straight into a tree-

Ow!

Dreadwing: <Ack! Where'd that tree come from?>

Oh right, this is why you're not supposed to fly to somewhere you haven't been...

-rubs her head-

-Fool sees the poster for J-Con-

Route 210

-Vyvyan nearly has a Jump Scare as a Gulpin passes by, but retains mis cool and keeps on searching-

-Vyvyan hears the Minum and Plusle that were discussing about finding trainers via Noodle Implements. Only for him it sounds like... well Pokémon Speak-

After seeing Maekrite being flung around like a Pokedoll, the kits are pretty worried.

As for Inka...

Inka -has grabbed Baluarkos by the shoulder and hsi wildly shaking him — <   That thing is hitting MY. SON. You don't know the pains I've had to go to beat even ONE Drahonite...!   >

Baluarkos -is shaken — <I-I-I kno-o-o-o-o-ow, emm-m-m-m-ar, you've told-d-d-d-d-d m-m-m-m-me like hrairao ti-i-i-i-imes-s-s-s-s-s-...!>

"Fire some Poison Stings in the meantime! It might still count as damage!"

Maekrite tries to get closer (but still at about 10 meters away) and fire some Poison Stings.
