No, please. I get it. You guys deserve so much more than what I gave you. You were my first two captures, and I've been shoving you off to the side, boxing you like some inconsequential Starly, and it was wrong of me. I'm sorry. Honestly, I'm surprised Empoleon is staying.

Crobat: <He wouldn't leave. I... I don't know if we should...>

No. You should. I love you, and you deserve better than what I've given you. I hope you find a Trainer that can give it to you. Or not, if that's not what you want. Where do you want to go?

Golem: <We've decided to stay in Sinnoh. It's our home.>

-Crobat nods. I pull out their Pokeballs and drop them on the ground, then crush them underfoot. Golem hugs me, very carefully-

Golem: <Stay safe. I love you.>

Crobat: <Same, but I can't hug you.>

-hugs Golem back, then pats Crobat's head-

No need. I love you too. You can say your good-byes, and go whenever you want too.

Golem: <Empoleon is passing on our good-byes to everyone. We'll leave now.>

Crobat: <We'll miss you, Crewe.>

I'll miss you too. Good bye.

-they wave, then disappear into the woods. I watch them go, then ever so slowly turn to walk over to Ashes-

Kensei: <Interrupt you at that.>

Oh, don't feel bad.

Felis: <This always happens to her on this game.>

Look, I'm sorry, but I'm doing my best to distance myself from all that. My life is back to normal—besides the whole understand Pokemon thing—and I'm happy with it. Hecate's gone home to Anville Town. Dana doesn't remember any of it. Tweedle refused to go, but she doesn't mention it, and the kids love her. I'm not about to shake everything up to try to relive the life of someone from another timeline.

Anyone who didn't get their memories back doesn't remember the AU happening. So from your perspective, you've been in the OT a day or two from when the AU started.

Well... I'm not really sure. Before I got sent there, I was having a pretty serious Heroic BSoD, but somehow I snapped out of it after I got there...

... It seems that just the faint glimmer of hope that Palkia might've been able to help us escape kept me going. Having that hope to pursue, somehow made me feel as if I had at least some form of purpose in that timeline.

... Besides, I was not going to give up when I knew that my friends were out there and might need me.

I didn't have any strength left when I got my memories back. I was already in a bad situation. I just laid there resigned to my fate...

...I'm glad I got rescued, though.
