-After cleaning some dust off the armor, going for some documents, helping some of the interns heal the Pokémon from the experimentation facilities and send an e-mail to the interns to verify that the evidence was sent, I go to the room where Luke and the others are. A big walking mound of Nidos heavily walks behind me-

Nidos — <Wheeeeee~! We're moving!>

Maekrite under the pile — <Ouch... my life...>

— Helo, Luke... guys...

-Go stand near Cinder-

— Hey you... liking the facilities so far?

... Maybe we could get some gym leaders to help us find Anom! I bet they might agree.

Yeah. Lets ask the one in Unova!

Pretty much. The more deadly the better. plus the resistance might need help.

-Sol's villa looks deserted, only the moving shadows and the occasoinal strange cackling sound break the silence. There is music coming from the Lounge Room-

Cinder: <Well, apart from the whole "Mad computer trying to kill us" thing, it's been okay, I guess.>

-Cinder and the rest of my team take note of the mob of Nidoran.-

Zap: <Aww! Cute!>

Gregory: <Goodness. That is a lot of Nidoran...>

Dusty: <Can I give them a hug?>

Lake: <As long as you're careful not to get poisoned.>

-Mezzo draws her Sword Cane and walks to the lounge room-

Emolga: <Listen, if you want to help us, why don't you do something... that can actually help us, instead of just randomly going off to places without thinking first?>

-Napoleon is playing "Golden Brown" on the Harpsichord-

<Napoleon>: <Now why did you come all the way from Black City to accuse me of treachory Mezzo? Why would I betray my superiors?>

-Napoleon continues playing-

<Napoleon>: <What gave you the idea that I was going to turn against my lords?>

Cuddlemob (to Zap) — <Thanks!>

Maekrite — <More ouch...>

-The cuddlemob stares at Cinder somewhat scared, however-

Cuddlemob — <Big fiery stoat!>

-Maekrite tries to move a bit, as if trying to see-

Maekrite — <Oh that? It's... Cin-Cinder... a friend... wa-warm... ouch.>

-to Dusty and Lake-

— Yeah, I guess Maekrite would welcome if we get some of those off his back. They've been riding on him ever since this morning...

-At the mention of "warm", half the cuddlemob gets off Cinder and goes to surround Cinder with cute faces-

Nidorans — <Oooooh! Warm!> — rub against Cinder.

Cinder: <HEY! What are you doing? Oh wow, there's loads of you...>

Lake: <Will this cheer him up a bit?>

Gregory: <Maybe. If only for a little while. Still, Lake, I think it would be wise to work out you difference when you get the chance.>

— Well let's hope this helps. Now that I look at this it might be related to the fact that those nidos spent months alone, without their parents, and Maekrite is now the closest thing they have to a family figure...

-Suddenly, the mob, that has been rubbing and sitting besides Cinder calmly for a while, scream all at once-

Mob — <CUDDLEPILE!!!!>

-The kits start piling on Cinder, clinging to his fur and his legs, and in ten seconds Cinder is clung by twenty or so Nidos-

"Wheeeee~!"

"Cuddly!"

"Warm!"

"I can hear its heart!"

To be honest, I don't care. I'm happy to see you dead either way. And it would seem that judging by her absence, you have already disposed of Sol.

Felis: <What a shame. I wanted to kill her myself.>

Cinder: <AAAAAHHHH! SOMEMON HELP!!!>

Oh, they're just being friendly with you Cinder! They won't hurt you. And even if they do, I've got plenty of Antidotes and Pecha Berries.

Cinder: <OH, REAL REASSURING!>
