ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

-Starts getting the cubes-

The universe we're in only exists because Cyrus ended up using Dialga to remake the old one. In it, you were the PEFE Headmaster, and I was part of a group of Pokemon Trainers colloquially known as the J-Team.

-While running down a hallway-

<Nadia: "Wait, where are we even running?">

<Mike: "No clue.">

<Aloysius: "... Why did we think that it was a good idea to have him lead again?">

<Kammy: "Let's just slow down and get our bear- ACK!">

-The group runs into Tagg's party-

-In the space tunnels-

-The group comes across a three-way intersection, with the two lateral spokes of the intersection leading to dead ends-

<Pascal: "... This is weird, man...">

<Leana: "Did someone cave these two in too?">

<Zoe: "I don't see any sign of it caving in...">

<Nathan: "So we just got unlucky...">

Cinder: <She is REALLY starting to ask for it now.> -Gazes at the room.- <Alright Mister Smartypants, how are we going to solve this one, then?>

Lake: <...Give me a minute.>

Cinder: -Sighs.-

-Lake looks around at everything in the room, taking note of where everything is, what surfaces Portals can be placed on and can't, how the platforms move...Just about everything, really.-

Cinder: <Come on, come on! We don't have all day!>

Lake: <Don't rush me! Not that it matters, as I think I've figured it out.>

-Lake explains his plan to Cinder.-

Cinder: <What?! That sounds crazy! If we miss and fall...>

Lake: <I know. But I think it may be the only way to get to the next chamber.>

-Cinder simply stares at Lake.-

Cinder: <...Fine. We'll do it. But if we die in here...I'll kill you.>

Lake: <Why does that not surprise me?>

-Lake and Cinder decide to put their differences aside for a few seconds while they put their plan into action.

The two use their Portal Guns to reach the catwalks, then make Two more portals each. One on the floor, then one on the slanted part of the pillars.-

Lake: <Okay, on three. One...Two...Three!>

-The Pokémon leap into the Portals, falling through them and out of the other Portal. The two soar through the air...

...And both land on a platform in a heap.-

Cinder: <Argh...>

Lake: <Ow...>

Also Jane, the Homestuck names come from the names I gave my Pokemon in my Nuzlocke Challange.

Just inside Pinwheel Forest

-A wounded and injured Skarmory, Houndoom and girl land on a flat piece of ground-

.+Stella+: +Go South, you said! GO SOUTH!+

^Cuddlekins^: ^Hey! I didn't know that we would be attacked by a squade if we flew past Driftviel!

.+Stella+: +And those "Freindly People" at Castelia! They tried to kill us!+

^Cuddlekins^: ^Sorry for asking for help!^

.+Stella+: +You don't ask for help around here any more! Now look out the condition our master's in! She's been beaten, brusied, cut, bitten and slashed! I think's she's hardly conscious right now!+

-Cuddlkins places Sol onto the ground, the dress she was wearing is now in tatters from the journey and her body bruised by all that has happened-

^Cuddlekins^: ^Get some leaves! Quick!^

At the Entralink

-A group of Audino from Pinwheel are trying to heal some injured baby Pokemon, the Growlithe cub is getting extra care-

In Undella Town

-Napoleon is playing the Harpsichord-

<Matchsticks>: <Napoleon Sir! There are battalions from Black City surrounding Undella Town! What do we do?>

-Napoleon continues playing-

<Napoleon>: <...We wait until Mezzo and her commander appear in this room in the flesh. We do not dare touch a soul in or around this city until she is here and I give the order. Okay?>

<Matchsticks>: <Yes Napoleon sir!>

-Matchsticks leaves the Lounge Room to let Napoleon play on his own-

WAIT. What? DIALGA?!

...how the... could I have been Headmaster? They'd never take someone who wasn't a Trainer for that role...

Lake / Cinder's Track

-the platform conveys the mons to the next room... slowly...-

You were a Trainer in the original timeline. Your starter was a Tropius named Basket.

Musashi: <Oh cr->

-Both teams end up in a pile-

Aliroz: <You guys are heavy.>

Torchic: <Can't...breathe...>

Audilith: -Pushes the other mons off of her- <Well, we found who we're looking for. I assume you got locked up too.>

Hmm. Oh! I think I know what to do...

-I quickly fire a Portal into the path of the energy ball and another into the next hallway, when it goes through it, I move into the next hallway and fire two more portals.

I repeat this another two times, managing to get the ball to hit the collector, opening the door to the next room.-

Stylin'.

-Heads into the next room.-

Cinder: -Taps his foot impatiently.- <Can't this thing go any faster?!>

Lake: <Are you always this impatient?>

Cinder: <Only when my trainer's life is on the line.>

Lake: <Our trainer.>

Cinder: <Whatever...>

Maekrite (blushes and drops ears) — <Fight you? Nah... no way...>

-I poke Maekrite with the Hidden Needle, then pick one of the Tropius's fruits carefully-

Maekrite — <FINE! FINE!> — to the Tropius — <We kinda fought... I mean I kinda fought you... uh, chased you.> — halfheartedly leers at the Tropius — <But don't get wrong ideas! I'm already committed in this timeline!>

— You guys wait for a moment...

-I go back to the door, pierce the Lemon with the Needle and then toss it back to whence we came, hiding behind the door and counting in my head-

One... two... e... three... π... four...

Maekrite (resting besides the Tropius) — <Like, you really don't remember Tangent? Didn't he adopted you when both of you were little in this timeline? When you fell at Azalea?>

-A big explosion makes the sowing facility reverberate as some smoke comes from the corridor; several feeding wires are removed from their places as the Tropii around are startled by the explosion-

— ...Thirteen, bitches. That is... about 4 to 5 seconds. Nifty...

-I go back to the pens to talk to Maekrite and the Tropii.

Maekrite (ears covered) — <You suck at this! Could have let us know!>

Star? What are you guys going to Scolipede and Artamise after taking them down?

...I don't know. Anyway, I was just about to leave.

Sorry, I had dinner. And I have to go out now. Don't know when I'll be back.

We'll continue this when I am, though.

- The Resistance continue working on various things, including their trained Audinos helping the injured Pokémon -

- Artemis and Mira are presumably doing something that isn't interesting enough for me to really bring up -

- DS' Sinnoh team continue their search for the other trainers -

...Tropius... well, they are nice Pokémon, I've always liked watching them...

But there's no way I could be cut out to be a Trainer! I can hardly even touch Pokémon without getting all nervous...

And how would I start with a Tropius? They don't live around Azalea...

Congratulations. You were... the second group to complete your testing track. You will be delivered to your party soon enough; unfortunately, the oven is taking longer than anticipated to warm up, so we shall give you the scenic tour.

-the next room contains a narrow pit with platforms passing by, merging into the stream of platforms conveying Lake and Cinder-

-In a random hallway-

<Mike: "Are you alright, Kammy? You fell onto me...">

<Kammy: "Yeah... But I didn't have this shell, this would probably be really painful right now...">

-The group struggles to their feet-

<Aloysius: "I'm going to feel that tomorrow...">

<Kyle: "Oww... I hope that I didn't break anything...">

<Nadia: "Oh! Are you okay?!">

<Kyle: "Well... I can move everything fine... So I don't think that it should be anything serious... Why were you so concerned though?">

<Nadia: "... It's just that... Well...">

<Vlad: "She got her wing broken shortly after evolving...">

<Toothless: "So she was a little worried about you having to go through the same thing...">

-Thinking-

<Kyle: "... She wants to restore her timeline? But she sounds like she was absolutely miserable during it...">

<Kyle: "... Oh. Um... Uh... Well... I'm fine...">

<Kit: "Wait, do any of you know where we are?">

-The Pokemon who have set up camp there here a rustling from the bushes, the instantly dart over to see who it is only to see that the rest of the Battalion has come there-

-A Whimsicott heads over to Roderich-

Sun: Our home has been reduced to smouldering ash...

Honora: And the intruders left... without a trace...

-MGMT's hat is filled to the brim with coins. It seems like the people and patrollers there like his singing-

<Liepard>: <Hey Z>

-The Zoroark looks over to the Liepard-

<Zoroark>: <Yes?>

<Liepard>: <Do you know that song that once Hoenn Pokemon hear, the start dancing uncontrollably to it?>

<Zoroark>: <You mean "Cotton Eye Joe"?>

<Liepard>: <Yep. That one.>

-The Liepard and Zoroark exchange glances before smirking-

At Undella

-Napoleon continues to play the Harpsichord until Mezzo shows up-

-Lake points to me, just as I spot him and Cinder.-

Oh! Lake! And...Cinder?

Cinder: <Yeah, they made me work with him. Can you believe it?>

Lake: -Rolls his eyes, then notices that I have a Portal Gun.- <They tested you, too?>

Oh, yeah. A lot of my tests seemed to involve being flung through the air at high speed. Not sure if that was intentional or not, though.

Lake: <Huh. Our tests involved working together.>

Cinder: <I did most of it.>

Lake: <You did not!>

-Maekrite looks somewhat relieved-

Maekrite — <You-you're a mom already? Good! Congratulations!> — pats — <(phew!)>

-I look around, thinking about where to go next-

— See? You're his. Your name is Basket... it's a bit complicated but, please come with us, we must find Tangent too and put a stop to this madness.

-I start freeing about 10 Tropii, using the Hidden Needle to cut the wires feeding the fruits instead of risking activating them as they are still attached to their bodies-

— Just try not to eat that fruit...

Maekrite — <Hey!> — jumps to a ledge and talks to the Tropii — <Have you seen any place where there are creatures like me prisoner, too?>

— Right... we have to liberate them.

-Casts a pair of blue portals on the ground and then quickly darts into room with Iron Marrow to cast a pair of orange portals behind the two turrets closest to the door-

-A few Pokemon yell "NO", but it's too late-

MGMT: If it had’t been for Cotton Eye Joe/I’d been married long time ago/Where did you come from where did you go?/Where did you come from Cotton Eye Joe?

-All the Pokemon (and people) from Hoenn start breaking into dance. The rest just shrug and start dancing too, all for the sake of having fun.-
