Me: Oh, sure. -Tosses a pokeball in- Tepig, could you please continue this battle?

-Tepig pops out-

Tepig: <Sure thing> -Fires an attack at Mandibuz-

-Watching the battle on TV someplace-

..........Ok, that was creepy.

Ian: Yeah, but It's still really cool! I wonder what kind of pokemon that was!

....I guess. At least he's moving to another pokemon now.

-Mandibuzz grunts in pain as it takes its first attack all battle-

J: Dark Pulse!

-Mandibuzz fires a Dark Pulse, but due to its nervousness, the blast is smaller than normal-

-Tepig steps out of the way and fires again-

-I put my head down and begin winding the watch-

-Mandibuzz flies around, firing intermittant Dark Pulses and Air Slashes from all angles-

Yeah, Rampardos is good for private battles, but there's just too much of a risk of her going on a rampage to use her in a tournament.

-Takes it and writes-

[Yeah, I know. I assume you're doing this so they don't hear we were Heart Swapped, right?]

-Tepig stops firing and just dodges-

Me: Tell me, is your Mandibuz female?

J: You really are stupid, aren't you? Aerial Ace!

-Mandibuzz suddenly vanishes, reappearing behind Tepig and swiping at it-

-Tepig takes the hit, but is not too damaged-

Me: I'll take that as a yes.

-Tepig tries to put on the charm-

[Of course I am.] -Pulls what I think is a bug out of a sock. It turns out to be a Joltik- How did you get in there?

-hears the television- Pentigan's using Attract? Oh no...

-Mandibuzz looks at Tepig, and hearts appear in her eyes-

J: -sighs- Return. Drapion, Cross Poison!

-Drapion appears, lunging at Tepig with claws outstretched-

Tepig: -Is hit, but eats a held berry- <Ouch...> -Checks wound- <Wait... YOU POISONED ME!> -Charges with a large amount of fire in mouth-

J: Venoshock!

-Drapion fires a stream of acidic liquid at the charging Tepig-

I have to go eat dinner, so I'll be back between 30 minutes and an hour.

Tepig: <SOMEONE GET THE BAKING SODA!> -Tries to get as much of the acid off him as possible- <AM I MELTING? SOMEONE TELL ME IF I'M MELTING!> -Stops- <That's it. If I'm going> -Turns to face Drapion- <I'm taking you with me!> -Coats himself in flames and charges-

(Almost back at the stadium, considering it might be too crowded I decide to do some Le Parkour with Dintel to reach the stands sooner)

— Well now, Maekrite, return! (Maekrite is beamed into the Pokéball)

— Now, I guess the easiest way is all the way up from here. Come on, Dintel! Hone those claws!

Dintel — <Yay! I ca go and move around and have fun!>

(Leap to an emergency stairwell, from there to the lintel on the door, away across a wall until I reach an adequate slanted structure for climbing.)

Dintel (already four steps up ahead) "Shrew? s'shrew" <Now that was fun? I climbed up here through some trees.>

— Good for you. *breathes* Now up, but calmly this time.

(I climb after Dintel for a while until I notice the structure is now steeper and that Dintel is standing there, looking past me)

— Hey... (*take a look far down*) phew... if I fall from here, may I rest in peace?

-Dragonair slithers across the room, wearing a pair of Anom's jeans on her head-

J & Drapion simultaneously: Pathetic.

-Drapion folds its arms, leaking poison onto its claws. As Tepig approaches, Drapion swings its arms outwards, slashing viciously at Tepig.-

And out of nowhere, I come back .

-Has taken shelter underneath a tree-

Dragonair, put those down. Those are my only spare jeans.

-Tepig falls over itself-

-I recall Tepig-

Me: ~Sigh~ ... ... ... I hoped it would not come to this... ... ... -Finishes winding the watch- ... ... -Sends out Nets-

Nets: -Immediately uses vines to constrict Drapion-

-Sees some Shieldon and a Bastiodon nearby-

Dragonair: <Awwwww. They make such a pretty hat.>

-she shakes them off her head, revealing my hat-

-Looks over to the Sheildon and Bastiodon group-
