Ozzy: <So... might I inquire as to what the phrase "Arceus' unholy flank" means?>

(And within a matter of seconds, Dio snaps out of it, and instantly lets out a cry of:)

(Kim grins.)

Evelyn: Since I know we'll meet again someday, I won't say goodbye. And who knows? Maybe we'll meet the same way we met the first time...

-a shadow falls over a disused cart next to a building, followed by a very expensive boot stepping out from behind a large bush-

Rockstar: -grimacing- <Nae, a don't like they look ae this. Kin we jist turn back, find eh nice tree tae nap under?>

Kamon: -squints- Oh, there's people over there. They look harmless. Looks like they might know something. -heads over to the gathered J-Teamers, waving sunnily- Pardon me! Sorry to interrupt, but we're verrry lost. Do you folks know the name of this place?

As the world finishes distorting, a Lopunny wearing a scarf is left standing where Halis was.

Halis: <Going to... uh...>

Halis has mysteriously reverted to mon form in the transition.

Halis: <Did I change scarves mid-transition or something? Something isn't quite right about this.>

They swap around their scarves a bit, but none of them do anything different.

Halis: <H-hey, wait, no, really, why can't I change back? This is kinda freaking me out a bit...>

They're barely even paying attention to their surroundings, being too caught up in their own problem.

Me: Aha! Here it is!

-Ian pulls a broom out of his backpack and gives it to Evelyn.-

Evelyn: A broom? For me?

Me: Yep! I imbued it with a bit of my psychic power to make it fly. It was mostly a costume piece from last Halloween. I want you to have it.

Evelyn: Uwaaa... Arigato!^Translation Wow... Thanks!

Me: I'm glad you like it.

Evelyn: But... what about you? Don't you need this for your witch costume?

Me: Me? I can find another broom. I'll be fine!

Evelyn: Maybe someday, we can fly brooms together.

Me: And I look forward to that day, Evelyn.

-Evelyn hops onto the broom before waving to Kim and Ian-

Silas blinked at Kamon stepping in, "Uhhh... what?"

And then suddenly, he felt hands touching his face, out stepped what appeared to be the Caretaker, Henderson.

"YES! Ye be in Harrington, an old Hamlet owned by the Paige family!"

"Grant Family currently," Silas noted, "Also quit touching my face."

~This would be the caretaker, Henderson.~

Henderson looked to the gathering party and grinned a toothy grin, "Quite the group growing, are you here to answer the call of Joseph?"

Silas grumbled, "Yes... we are... except for this guy, who is he? An actor?"

Kamon: Hmmmm? A party? -looks around- Not a bad locale for it. Although it's early for Halloween.

-Once the party follows Nazena into the portal, the Doublade prying it open quickly slips in, letting it close behind them.-

The Distortion World

-The group emerges on the other side to see what seems to be a pathway in a mountainous area. Red soil roads weave both upward and downward on the mountain, red upon what seems to be dark, almost bluish earth. Upward, the rocks seem to fade from this dark blue soil into almost crystalline blue peaks. The sky is cloudy, and a faint shadowy indigo haze hangs through the atmosphere, thinning out near the red path. At mostly-even intervals, the path is marked by crystalline lanterns on posts, glowing with faint cool-white light; a sprawling cluster of these lanterns can be seen in the distance at the mountain's base, even though the shadowy fog obscures the details.-

-In the darker atmosphere, Nazena takes off her mask; underneath, she has the pale, nearly grayscale complexion of her fellow Ultra Megalopolitans, and stark-white hair cut short. She just spends the time waiting for everyone to come through by looking around at the scenery.-

Wild Area — Brie

-Kai sweatdrops-

Kai: Yyyyyeah. Honestly, I'm not super clear on how they're staying as big as they are around here? The gym stadiums can only sustain the big transformation for, like, twenty seconds, give or take. Like, they can manage maybe three attacks and then they shrink again.

-They shrug-

Kai: I'll stick with the tricks I know. Rose gave me her old Z-Ring just before she left, and I figure I'm just gonna get used to that while I'm here.

Stormchaser — Echopoint

-Echo nods.-

Echo: As long as you have my back, I'll have yours.

Galar Wild Area, probably near Motostoke

Someone in her late teens rested against a tree, a Corvisquire and Togekiss sitting beside her. The former was awake while the latter had wrapped her wings around her trainer.

A young-looking Gurdurr wearing a hat and sash walked past Motostoke, guiding a Conkeldurr beside her. This was Clara and her mother, visiting Galar in hopes of meeting other trainers. The two exchanged mutterings in the common Timburr language.
