-The shadow fragment monsters fall easily, dispersing into wisps of energy as the powerful attacks of so many party members crash into the crowds-

Lucian Macraul: Hah! Take that!

-He runs nearer to the door to watch the assault while Janus steps off the stage and looks around-

Janus Macraul: Is everyone leaving to fight..?

-The way into Wrong Lumiose is clear for now, but in the dark beyond the first few streetlamps things are moving-

Wrong Lumiose

As Roy throws himself into the fray only to launch a few shadows skyward in a flash of orange, any stray attacks from them being blocked by the glowing feathers, Helmsman slams his fist down to knock them back down to the ground, creating a tremor.

Colton throws out an arm to grab a shadow and throw it at another one, which Ammy follows up with by throwing a gust of wind at them.

Sylveon throws out Gambol Shroud while Sunny throws some feathers, only for them both to drag them back to themselves and defeat the black along the way.

Colton looks up while exhaling some purple fire that was paltry compared to Nine!Ammy's, only to see the darkness moving.

We've just begun! He warns, to which Helmsman responds by cracking his neck.

Halis: "See? Simple. Let's keep moving, and never stop..."

A dance of laser-sword slashes and lightning blasts marks Halis's path through the darkness. They seem almost singleminded in this, only heeding their allies when they look back for a moment before going back to attacking the shadow creatures indiscriminately.

Gaspard: Instant kill mode!

Nothing happens.

Lamarck: Dare I ask why?

Gaspard: I dunno. It felt like something I should say.

Meanwhile, Jon is still flying through the air in a chopper fedora and shooting the creeps with magic while Ramiel!Walter is shooting at them with lasers while shielding the duo with his AT field.

Milagros: ...welp. Looks like another fight.

He threw the water shuriken at the horde and jumped in.

Kat: Wait a sec... I wonder if you could use the Oran OS to somehow deal with the Cheri OS pokemon to, ya know, get them back to normal?

Cady: Hmm, maybe. But how?

Kat: I hadn't thought that far yet.

-Eva fires some exploding chemicals out of her science flask. Human!Merah arrives back from the salad bar, dressed as Nicholas Angel.-

Merah: What the heck? I was only gone for a couple minutes!

-She pulls out a rifle from behind her back.-

Merah: Let's deal with these things. For the greater good.

Kat: Hey, can I have one of those guns?

Merah: Sure.

-She throws her remaining rifle at Kat, who catches it and proceeds to shoot at the shadow things from the sky. Merah shoots at them from the ground whilst Siri slashes at some of them with a knife. Lila floats up in the air.-

Lila: Quick, someone think of something sad!

Eva: That one episode of that show with the old Stoutland who died?

Lila: Ah, yes...

-Lila unleashes a stream of magical tears onto the monsters below.-

Me: How's it going, Piku-chan?

Piku-chan: <So far, so good!>

-Ian airlifts Piku-chan back onto his broom with a wave of his wand-

Me: I sense that there's something out there in the darkness...

Piku-chan: <You don't think it's more of those shadow things, do you?>

Me: It might be, but if so, then there are going to be so many that it will make the group that we fought off look like two or three... For all we know, they could gather into one GIANT one of those things and then split back into several tiny ones after taking enough damage... We'd be overwhelmed!

-Ian smiles determinedly, to a degree that some people might believe to mean that he's lost it-

Me: Then again...

-Ian prepares another Magical Circle, the same type as the one used to throw Piku-chan at the shadow monsters-

Me: -with great determination- THAT'S ALL PART OF THE FUN, ISN'T IT?!

Poison Ivy!Abilene: -to Janus- It's that or remain here, cousin.

Zatanna!Pippy: -flippers on hips- <Well, we're in a horrible shadowy zombiescape again, but not to worry! I've got this, my Trainer.>

-aiming at the distant figures, he spits a jet of confetti that flutters slowly to the ground-

-Beat-

Walnut!Castanea: <Normally you're more effective than this.>

Poison Ivy!Abilene: -sigh- Stay behind me.

Korra!Megan: I have powers! I-I think.

Poison Ivy!Abilene: -sharply- Water powers?

Korra!Megan: Heck yes!

Poison Ivy!Abilene: Then move.

-and simultaneously, Megan and Abilene throw out their hands, Castanea clenches his fists, and the terrain shifts-

-there's a brief eruption of water, rapidly overtaken by a spiraling, thorny hedge-tangle spearing through the horde-

Yuuno!Addie: -hm- <Lorien. I'm not familiar with that name.>

-pulling out a tiny notepad- <Do you have a description?>

-and therefore, there is a Latias!-

Human?Paramedic!Eric: -appearing- ~Where's the—oh. Oh dear.~

-he immediately sets to cleaning and bandaging the wound, keeping up a steady Heal Pulse-

-focusing first on any damaged organs or arteries or bone, and working backward-

Fate!Logan: -draws a circle around Alyssa- You'll be alright.

-if she accepts, she may find that her pain cuts in...let's say half, and a wave of calm may wash over her-

-keep her steady-

Luxor: -link curtailed, sets to sniffing out any suspicious smells, further threats, this "Lorien"-

Wanderer: -As the monsters snarl and growl in anticipation- ...Let's make this short and sweet.

Pikachu: -Sparking- <Right!>

Fire Lizalfos: -Snarls before jumping at him spear first-

Wanderer: -Deflects the blow, making it stumble before doing a swing of his sword, the air displaced from the move sending the Lizalfos tumbling off the side along with several of its brethren-

Pikachu: -Dodges the blows of a Black Moblin with Agility before zapping it to make it drop its weapons and then bringing it down with a slashing Iron Tail to the throat, before bringing a Thunder down on some more Moblins-

Henry: -Blows a bunch of Bokoblins away with his Gatling Laser-

Judith: -Shoots a drone from her Morph Gun that hails yellow energy bolts on the enemies below, before pulling out an extendable staff to beat away the enemies that get too close-

Guardian Skywatchers: -Charge their lasers and fire-

Wanderer: -Eyes narrow- I got this.

-Slashes out an energy wave with the Elemental Sword, cleanly splitting a Guardian in half vertically, before using it to deflect the beam of another one, destroying it as well-

Calvin: -Does concentrated fire alongside the two unnamed Wanderer Corpsmen that brings down the propellers of a remaining Guardian Skywatcher, sending it back to earth-

-Suddenly, two Lynels jump aboard-

Wanderer: -Quizzically head tilts- ...I figured you guys would be too big for the Sky Octoroks to carry, guess I was wrong.

Lynels: -Roar and charge at the group on all sixes-

-Cady, Kat and their pokemon stand around watching and offering encouragement as none of them are really that good at pushing stuff.-

Deku!Halis: "...Pushing it? Where, though? Hm... Hey, Asterios, let's help cover them while they're pushing that thing!"

Asterios: <angry Tauros noises>

He continues to Rage, his ferocity increasing with every new attack thrown, but he does heed Halis's word and tries to block the path of any oncoming enemies those pushing the machine might face otherwise.

Deku!Halis: "I wonder what the next shift will be like? Hopefully it's something less... mildly awkward."

They would keep trying to fire Deku Nuts at the enemies like they have been, but it's getting a bit tiring so they've stopped for now.

Macraulloween

Dew: <Weird guy, long black hair, purple eyes. He wasn't... doin' anything, just sleepin', but the bastard freaked me out by movin' suddenly in the fog, and suddenly I was stuck in this weird dream, and next thing I know, I'm here!>

-Alyssa's injuries look worse than they actually are. There's a long horizontal gash on her back, but luckily, most of the damage is in her right shoulder blade, and she suffered no spinal damage. That arm is going to be a bit less dexterous, but luckily still functional, and will probably return to strength given enough time.-

-And it seems, with the help of the Heal Pulse and the calming of the Styler, she is at least able to pick herself up, kneeling on the floor with a slightly dazed expression.-

Alyssa: ...Um. Thank you.

Mobile Base

Me: Ahh... I see... Taking the Mean Bean Machine... and pushing it somewhere else... It's worth a try!

Piku-chan, Piper, Raru, Oshawittle... Get ready!

Piku-chan and Piper: <Right!>

Oshawittle: <On it, my liege...>

Raru: <Let's do this!>

-Ian and his Pokémon join in on pushing the Mean Bean Machine-

Pippy: <Vee's not fighting, so...is she okayish, at least?>

Zora!Megan: -wince- The recall beam worked, so...probably?

Pippy: -worried tsk- <Should be. Should be.>

-he scans the room for something, and-

Pippy: <...ah.>

-he reaches out, and the little sphere she left behind flies into his hand-

-it's ethereal and wispy, more reminiscent of sound than any conjured matter-

-he holds it close, inhales-

-and her power settles around him like a cloak-

Pippy: <Right! Let's push.>

-and Pippy goes up and does something...strange, with the inertia of the Bean Machine-

-also, Megan comes up and starts shoving, with her newly fish muscles-

-Eric starts shoving telekinetically-

Logan: ...hm.

Addie, come here. We're gonna cut through the floor.

-and they try to Capture a Guardian-

Yuuno!Addie: -writing- <Black hair...purple eyes...danger.>

<Noted. We'll let...someone know about this.>

-looking over, finally- <Hey, wanna say hi to your friend?>

Fate!Logan: -smile- It's no trouble. I'm just glad to see you're okay.

Human?Paramedic!Eric: -raising a finger- ~Uh, you may want to go to an actual Center, though. Get it checked out, see if there's anything my field job missed.~

Pangoro!Milagros would run up to the machine, also helping pushing it.

Milagros re-appears from the horde of creatures.

Milagros: Okay, what else can I do?

He then jumped into the air, threw two recently formed water shurikens at the horde, and dived back down.

-Scuttle nods, and adds a String Shot to the Stealth Rock, winding threads in and among the rocks to prevent any impromptu steeplechasing-

Mezzo: Pureblood Soulless, just what I need today.

Pianis: Is this more Last Legend stuff?

Mezzo: Empire Souls. You were close.

-Mezzo holds her wand with both hands, causing a fiery explosion to blast a pair of advancing shadows away-

Pianis: Not fair. Why do you get magic powers while I have to deal with having this huge crystallized arm.

Mezzo: Didn't I tell you to shut up about that? Besides, Snow has ice magic too, you whiner.

-Pianis slams his crystal arm into the ground, causing a wave of icicles to burst upward from it-

Mezzo: See.

Pianis: Okay, that makes up for it. Almost.

-a short distance away...-

Fortis: Oh my gosh! What do we do?

Noelle: Well, I guess it's time to see if this crystal really can banish darkness.

-she raises it high, and it shines brightly, causing the shadows to flee-

Noelle: I guess that's not a problem. Now, how do we find the culprit...?

Mobile Base, Wanderer's Group

Wanderer: -As the Lynels charge- I'll take the guy on the left, you guys do the one on the right.

Judith: Readying her Morph Gun- Got it.

-The rocks themselves don't really do that much to slow Lynel #1, but the silk certainly does, allowing Judith to shoot it in the head and stun it-

Judith: -Readying a plasma grenade to throw at its head- Now, finish it!

-And so the Lynel is felled under a hail of laser fire and plasma grenades to the head and neck-

Lynel #2: -Wasn't moving as fast, and so the white-maned Lynel is able to stop itself enough to spit massive fireballs at the Wanderer-

Wanderer: -Absorbs two of the fireballs before sending the flames back as an even bigger blue fireball-

White-Maned Lynel: -Barely blocks the fireball with its Savage Lynel Shield, the kinetic force causing it to slide back-

Wanderer: -Clutching the Elemental Sword with both hands- Guess I'm gonna have to start taking this a little more seriously.

White-Maned Lynel: -Starts shooting with its Savage Lynel Bow-

Wanderer: -Moves fast enough that it seems as if he's teleporting past the arrows, taking a moment to catch one and throw it at the Lynel like a dart-

White-Maned Lynel: -Gets hit right in the chest and stumbles slightly, before running up and attempting to swipe the Wanderer with its Savage Lynel Crusher-

Wanderer: -Backflips over the swipe before jumping up to grab the Lynel by the horn and slam it into the ground-

Pikachu: -Runs over- <Together!>

Wanderer: Lattice Cage!

White-Maned Lynel: -Is encased in translucent crystal-

-Both the Wanderer and Pikachu turn into light and bounce into and through the Lynel within the crystal, stopping upon the Wanderer turning solid and turning the Elemental Sword into a bat to knock it into the deck-

White-Maned Lynel: -Annoyed that this human and rodent have refused to die, it tries swiping at the Wanderer, only for him to dodge and grab it by the back leg-

Wanderer: Okay, I think we're done here.

-Proceeds to slam the Lynel onto the deck and into the hull by its back leg before throwing it right through the hull-
