The Petersens are watching some big name superhero film that has been sold out in Unova since last week. They managed to book the only one that wasn't dubbed over, and the theater was filled with nitpicky purists who insisted on watching it in the original language.

The Petersens with the exception of Tommy were abysmal at Kalosian; the Geographic Society could only afford to swap their seats for a different screening and this was the only one in Galarian.

Jeff: Everyone back home (and by everyone, I especially mean Jenny) is going to blab the spoilers like crazy. And Jeff is not getting fomo.

Tommy: But it's so late.

Sara: And your company could only get us tickets if an employee was present. And come on, Thomas, we're here for another week.

Tommy: Point.

Shortly after the viewing, the Petersens begin feeling a sense of déjà vu at the character played by Parker Netherlands. Yeah, that one.

Tommy: Arceus, that guy's a total dweeb.

Sara: I can't quite put my finger on it but that guy does sound rather familiar.

Jeff: It's like if they rolled Arachna-Guy and Tommy into one person. That's a riot. Heck, it almost seems like if you copied that guy from the Homecoming movie, you'd get a low-tech version of Arachna-Guy.

Sara: The resemblance is uncanny. Only you're not a superhero. But you can't shake the fact that you look eerily alike. They made a meme out of that.

Jeff: For such a niche web show, Learner Lab churns out a lot of memes.

Tommy: You know that you're not the only one pointing that out, but I'm just not seeing it. Seriously, where are people getting this? I do not look nor act like Parker Netherlands in that movie.

Jean: If he's anything like that guy, I'll just be glad if he keeps playing fair and avoids the damages caused by the likes of the J-Team.

Walter: I'm curious. How did you figure it out?

Jean: I was a detective. It didn't take me long to put the pieces together once I noticed that they arrived at the same time.

Jean: Why'd Jon leave his bag with me? I'm not his butler.

That Necrozma we fought back at Mt. Moon? Its name is Voyd and it needs the J-Team's help in retrieving a Z-Crystal from the Macrauls. It'll be a stealth mission and I'm going to be a part of it. They already have scouts who are heading to Macraul Manor to get a good scope of the place before the strike team goes in to retrieve the Z-Crystal!

-thinks to self- Maybe that strange crystal wasn't hypnotic... I felt my heart skip a beat before I "fell under"... Maybe it was testing the love in my heart...

Priscilla: Oh, we're well aware. I'm here to let you know, though that officially, PEFE cannot be held liable to the activities of the J-Team. Unofficially, we do have ways to get you out through other legal means if you get in trouble with the Macrauls, up until and including being bailed out of jail. We have a dedicated budget for that and if need be we can make it bigger.
