I have returned from my trip to [Europe]. I had extended my stay past my leave as Silas Grant from Asimov and a few of his allies have called to my attention several caches of seized Pokefutures assets from two locations. A few assets were seized at a clandestine arms auction that took place concurrently with one for arts and antiquities near Camphrier Town in Kalos, where I had stayed during my break.
Mr. Grant and his colleagues later called my attention to another, much larger collection of old Pokefutures assets that were acquired during a recent raid by a clandestine vigilante group following the walking dead crisis in nearby Eddisburg.
I took the liberty of overseeing the cataloguing and shipping of the assets to our secured facilities in Lumiose City, pending their transfer to HQ.

Mr. Tenembaum from the insurance company will be inspecting the Stormchaser today. I shall be escorting him throughout the inspection process to hopefully steer him into lowering our current insurance rates, which have skyrocketed since Dr. Multiman's assault on Lumiose City.
In addition, I have also acquired a mysterious artifact—a mineral, resembling a rose quartz, with anomalous properties. Its finder, a young man named Ian, has agreed to loan us the mineral for safekeeping and analysis and will be touring the facility alongside Mr. Tenembaum.
I was present when the mineral showed its anomalous properties, which are included in the attachments. This behavior may be tied to similar anomalies that usually take place in the First of April.

Silversmith: "I wish I was here to read. Alas, seems those days are long gone."
Silversmith went to the reference desk to see about getting a job.

Ophidia is slightly overwhelmed by the number of book. She traces her leaf-arms along the shelves and picks a book, looks at it. It was a pulp fiction, and she gleefully coils up and starts reading, her eyes scanning the pages with surprising ease for a Pokemon who spent most of her life thus far in the wild.Mischief wanders out with Cortez in tow. Naturally a Zoroark undisguised is a rare sight, especially so far from both N's Castle and Lostlorn Woods. A few passerby stared as the young Illusion Fox practiced, easily disguising herself but having trouble maintaining separate illusions. She was definitely getting better though, and enjoying it quite a lot. Blue Illusory flames swirled about her, among other, notably showy Illusions. She was a natural performer, and Scorch watched it all eagerly.
Shadow, for his part, took out his transformation scarf and looked it over in his hands. He smiled. Unlike Silversmith, he was used to the idea that not everything was as it seemed. It never really bothered him, having lived with Mischief so long.

Mischief looked around Nacrene City. Her eyes lock on a perfectly average young woman. She focuses her hardest... And shifts into an almost perfect replica, aside from her eye color, hair... And the ears. Her blue eyes open and she looks at Cortez, waiting for a reaction. Her disguise included a simple dress, but the fox ears gave her away. Her English voice was only a clumsy auditory Illusion, but it was understandable.Mischief: -heavily accented English- Well, Cor-TEZ? Do I look hoo- ... HU-man?
Scorch tilted his head. Mischief, meanwhile, found adding sound to her Illusions a thoroughly straining effort.

Armando floated closer to Ophidia, and attempted to read over her. Meanwhile, Silversmith was dejected. He would not get a job at his favorite place in the world. No matter, he could—Who was that talking to Cortez? Were those... fox ears? Silversmith speedwalked to the library entrance, passing Shadow and recoiling silently at the held scarf.

Mischief dropped her Illusion with a groan, holding her head.Mischief: <G-give me a minute. My head's pounding from concentrating so hard...>
After recovering, she takes the form of a Breloom. A perfect mimicry of Cortez, aside from being female.
Shadow silently follows Silversmith, while Ophidia tilts the book so Armando can read it too.

Silversmith arrived on the scene, finding two brelooms standing where Cortez and the fox-eared women were seconds before.Silversmith: "What the—Cortez, where did that lady with the fox ears go? And where did this other breloom come from? We're in Unova..."
Cortez had an idea and discretely nudged Mischief with his tail, saying nothing.

Shadow blinked, recognizing the Illusion instantly. Mischief took the cue without any difficulty. Disguising her voice, she spoke.Mischief: <I don't know! She was just here! Oh, him? We just met! We're really hitting it off!>
Shadow grinned behind Silversmith. Silversmith would easily take the bait.

Mischief realized the horrible effort on Cortez's part meant extra effort on hers. What a drag. Thankfully, like many of her species, lying was in her bag of tricks. Even Shadow had a hard time identifying a lie from her.Mischief: <As it turns out, I'm not the only Breloom who enjoys swimming! We could make a swim team!>
Shadow decided to lend a hand.
Shadow: Doesn't a team for anything require at least three Pokemon?
Mischief gratefully accepted the assistance.
Mischief: <What? We're still... Um... How many more do we need?>
Shadow hoped Mischief wasn't overdoing the ditzy act.

Shadow covered his mouth, stifling snickers.
Shadow: Hey, Silversmith! I know a way to reveal the truth! Ask questions only the real Cortez could answer correctly! ... By the way, what flavor does Cortez like best? Sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, or dry?
Shadow was scheming as much as Mischief.
