Milagros: Okay, let's go in.

Vermilion City: Repair Shop

They went inside, and were instantly greeted by a man in his 30's.

Man: Oh, hey there. How can I help?

Vermilion City: Repair Shop

Me: Hello. We're here to fix Milagros' motorbike.

-I show the man the damaged bike-

The man let out a quiet shriek.

Man: Good lord, what happened?

Milagros: Team Skull happened.

Man: Oh god, we'll need to bring out my co-worker for this one. Rourke, come out!

A tall boy who looked about 19 peeked out of a nearby door. He took one look at the bike before speaking up.

Boy (Presumably called Rourke): Come in here.

Rourke opened the door completely.

Me: Okay. Let's go, buddy.

-I follow Rourke with Piku-chan on my shoulder-

Vermilion City: Repair Store

Rourke walked them into his room of the repair store.

Rourke: Okay, explain what you want removed.

Milagros: Well, Team Skull grunts made all of these dents in the motorbike for starters. Then they removed one of the throttles. They also sprayed this graffiti on.

Rourke paused while he looked at the bike.

Rourke: Okay, so fixing the dents is about 30 dollars, and there's an extra 40$ for putting on a new throttle. We don't have anything related to graffiti on our costs, so we'll remove that for you for free. So that's 70$ in total.

Milagros counted up the money again.

Milagros: Good thing we have $100 dollars then.

Vermilion City: Repair Shop

Me: Thanks for you help, Rourke.

-Ian smiles at the young motorcycle repairman-

Vermilion City: Repair Store

Rourke smiled back at him, before whistling.

Rourke: Okay, Thresh! Come out!

Just then, an Alolan Meowth (presumably "Thresh") wearing a cap which looked a bit like this walked into the room. The Meowth looked up at Milagros' bike.

Rourke: Thresh, can you look for a throttle quickly?

The Meowth nodded before walking into a separate room. After that, an Alolan Raichu (Marvel) walked in and started to scratch off the graffiti. After this, the Alolan Meowth came in again with the throttle. The Raichu continued to scratch off the graffiti (it was leaving a big grey mark on the red bike though) while Rourke fixed the new throttle onto it.

Ivan is greeted by Halliburton, a red-haired senior correspondent that didn't pay attention to him since he got there and was only ever there sporadically because he was on assignment elsewhere.

Senior correspondent Halliburton: Hello, you've received the message from Senior Editor Jean, right? We've been expecting you.

Ivan would notice that the way he talks is eerily familiar. Like, really familiar. Like, it's a natural voice that he might expect to have a synthetic reverb that just isn't there.

Senior correspondent Halliburton: I don't believe we've been introduced, since I don't usually work with interns. I'm Jonathan Halliburton, and I've been assigned to guide you through field assignments moving forward, at least until your old friend Mr. Petersen arrives from Unova in a few weeks.

When Marvel finished scratching off the graffiti, Thresh started painting a fresh coat of red paint over the area. Just then, an Alolan Sandshrew (Rue) came in with a bucket of warm water.

Rue poured the water on one of the dents, and Rourke bought out a plunger after she was done. Rourke then put the plunger on the dent and started pushing until the dent popped out.

He did this a few times with the other dents until they were all gone, and Milagros' bike looked good as new.

Rourke: There we go! Much better.

They heard someone talking outside.

Rourke: Hold on guys...

Rourke walked into the main room of the repair store.

Me: We'll be right here.

Me: -I whisper to Milagros- What do you think Rourke heard?

Milagros: [whispering] Something about having a break I think?

After a few minutes, Rourke came back in.

Rourke: So, looks like I'm off work for a while. Just a question, what are you guys up to?
