Harold looked at the Braviary and then over to his current team, he gave it some thought, "Stylus you're up!"

Stylus blanched, <What?! Why me?>

"You're my lead mon, it would make sense to use you."

<Yeah I'm a Lucario, fighting type. Sure I can punch hard and take a hit... well a bit better now anyways since you made sure to boost my defensive IVs.>

"I don't see what you're complaining about," Harold said crossing his arms.

Stylus glared at his trainer, <Hacks have you ever tried to punch a bird?>

~Yes, we fought flying types a lot on our travels, remember?~ Hacks/Harold directed at Silas/Stylus.

Stylus was about to argue further, but had to concede defeat.

"Don't worry, we'll just use non fighting moves, such as... Metal Claw, go."

Stylus charged at Capone, swing out his arms, a snikt sound could be heard as 3 metal claws appeared over his paws, he leaped high in the air and dived at Capone, ready to strike.

The Researcher stops and has to catch his breath, "My legs... *huff* were not made *huff* for running!"

Arthur just stares at the man, "Are you okay good sir?"

"I'm fine *huff* just need *huff* to catch my breath!"

Arthur looked at where the two had went and then back to the researcher, "Okay what's that all about?"

The Researcher took a deep breath and stood up, "Oh, those were Clutch and Ranger, mons we've been looking over for awhile, Clutch was part of a Metagross team meant to excavate certain areas with precise movement, though recently he quit and refuses to cooperate."

Arthur nodded, "And the Absol?"

"Ranger? Ranger was a volunteer mon we had for research into extradimensional pokemon, as we're discovering the Ultra-dimension is filled with them."

"Ultra dimension?" Arthur asked, a bit confused.

The Researcher looked Arthur over and adjusted their glasses, "How do you not know?"

Denali came in, "Forgive him, he just recently came back from the dead."

The Researcher stared at Arthur and smiled, ready to ask a thousand questions, only to be cut off by: "I'm just wearing a artifact to return me to human form. I'm not actually a resurrected human, okay? So, are they the only problem mons?"

The Researcher sighed and his shoulders drooped, "No we got more. We've got a superintelligent Golurk named Hayden, but he insists on turning other dimensions into power sources, though we're fairly certain that will backfire, horribly."

Arthur blinked, "I think I'll handle this."

Jetta raised a finger as though she was going to say something, but nothing came out. Right, of course, Bug-types, too simple-minded to fall for Birdie's tricks...

Sure enough, Birdie was still going on when the Electroweb smacked him square in the face, wrapping around his head and obscuring his vision. Didn't stop him from talking, though.

"<Blagahgjhwhgjhfergejgjrfejregeyrjrgerjer... pffhaha, heh, oh no! Ohhhh nah, not the bloody electroweb! Smooth silk, my one weakness!>" he said with utmost honesty, as he feigned stumbling around and flailing at the air like some kind of drunkard, though he did twitch from the electrical charge that had been surging through his body.

Though sluggish, he eventually 'stumbled' right up to Drake. "<Welp, guess I lost this one, then, clearly I must DROP DEAD IN DEFEAT!>" he suddenly exclaimed as he spun and fell towards Drake, trying to elbow-drop him flat. He revealed it had all been a Facade.

If Drake's unnerving eyes could glower, he would. "You really should avoid landing close to your opponent," he thought. As simple as his brain functioned, he was never really into theatrics.

He bit the approaching scrafty and proceeded to shock him.

Tommy: Bug bite and discharge (or thunderbolt; I honestly can't tell sometimes).

Corrin: I don't... wait, I do have an idea. Most of the dark magic from our world gets converted into... "Obscura", right? Meaning the portal probably was as well. Maybe someone on the team who's experienced with Obscura could help?

Stylus focused his anger on Capone, and from his mouth he spits a blast of dragon intensified rage.

Arthur walked in on Ranger and Clutch, who are arguing over... well honestly it doesn't matter, it's clear the two don't like each other. Arthur pinched the bridge of his nose, and then realized he had a scar there, from the games, how did- focus up.

"Hello there, what is going on?"

Ranger and Clutch looked over, Clutch was the first, <This mutt refuses to acknowledge my greatness as a silicon based lifeform.>
