Tommy, looking somewhat incredulously at Jetta: We work for a company that makes documentaries and news magazines. When you film angry beedrill swarms and volcarona nesting grounds, and cover over-the-top robberies made by hammy supervillains, eventually you just kind of get burnt out getting intimidated by people and events and just go for it. I mean, if we're going to cower all the time, we're never gonna get anything done.
Shutter: My instinct is to run away and take cover. Discretion is the better part of valor.

Shinji falls into a few nearby bushes, eliciting a comical conking sound that, in Shutter's mind, resembles that of a coconut.

Tommy: Well, Shinji's down. Time for the second one. Hmmm. Which one of the two would it be?
Shinji, just before returning to his pokeball: <I hate you.>
Tommy: Anyway, go Drake.
Drake jumps out of the bushes overenthusiastically.
Drake, uncharacteristically cocky for someone his size: Finally!

-Kai, on the other hand, fell asleep a lot slower than Brie, so they're still asleep now, cuddled up to her.-

Possibly standing nearby one of the members of Benadetta's mafia.

Hajime frowns.

Hajime: "Well, good they couldn't do stuff, at least."

He then gets... very uncomfortable as the fight happens. And just nods to show he won't say anything about the workers when they get out.

Metal: <I hitched a ride on your ship during the attack. Before you ask, I didn't find any other stowaways.>

Laura: Metal? Is that you?

Metal: <Yeah, Laura, it is. I'm not here to hurt you J-Teamers. I want to tell you the truth about that parka-wearing creep.>

Yeah. I was pretty exhausted, and I didn't get any sleep at the hospital.

Kai: Sleepless nights will do that to you. I pretty much passed out the same way when we first got here.

Metal: <I've known Ivo all my life, he raised me from an egg. And no bigger change happened to him than when that creep started giving Mobius tips and struck him when he was vulnerable. Izaya started putting ideas in his head about getting revenge on that Echo chick and more importantly getting his son back, and used information on how to get into vital Mobius resources. Question is what; recently I've seen him make requests for weird technology and some kind of serum and going into the deepest depths of the airship, but I can never track him.>

-he shakes his head and sighs-

<What's clear is we need to stop him; I'm just wondering if you have any ideas how or what he's up to.>

Brie: So, uh, what all happened after we got yoinked? Why'd everyone go here?

Whirlygig: <Because we lost?>

Brie: Lumiose seems intact enough.

Kai: From what I heard, it's so the blue egg guy doesn't try a second attack on us, because he may easily have more up his sleeve. And with him knowing Echo, he might be a bit less keen on keeping cities safe next time? He really didn't like seeing her. At least here, he can't track us, what with this place being a Mirage Island and all.

PEFE HQ

Brie: Mierda.

-she sighs-

We have to figure out some way to deploy, then. What if he starts staging attacks to draw us out?

Kai: ...That's a very real possibility. I haven't... really been involved in this situation long enough to be able to tell if he'd do that. I've been focusing more on being a Frontier Brain.

-They sigh.-

• Over the years, my pokemon have acquired a taste for pizza. With the exception of Shinji, who is from an omnivorous species, do not feed them pizza or any other human food, no matter how much they beg. It gives them terrible indigestion.
• Tobi and Drake are to be fed pokemon food cleared for carnivorous bug-types. Shinji is to be fed a balanced diet of vegetables, seafood-based pokemon food, and the occasional ponigiri and poffin.
• Shinji is allowed to eat human food only sparingly. If not, his exoskeleton gets tight and his movement would be impeded. If this happens, the best recourse is to give him a diet.
• Drake is to be kept away from sources of electric power.
• Outside of formal battles and other emergencies, Drake is to draw electricity from one (1) power bank no more than twice every week.
• My pokemon can frequently be placated by making them watch a Let's Play on [You Tube]. I know this is common-sense, but try not to make them watch ''that'' guy. He's a bad influence.
• Avoid suggesting a connection between prehistoric and obsolete in front of Shinji; he finds this deeply offensive.
• They are capable of operating camera equipment. Please do not let them play with cameras unsupervised.
• They are generally disciplined enough to be allowed to roam unsupervised, provided they stay indoors.

All I can really say about the guy apart from his poor fashion sense and obvious sliminess is that he seems to have some plan coming up to screw us with, going by that phone call I had with him a couple months ago.
