Calm down now.
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy.Sorry. I just want to understand how Capcom replaces the one guy who keeps Street Fighter working with a guy that probably knows nothing about fighting games. This one is edited because I took a wrong information, he's the COO's brother, but son of of one of Capcom's founders.
I won't stop him from trying. But I'll say that the prognosis doesn't look good. I hope to be proved wrong on that account.
Meanwhile, on Eventhubs, people warring over whether Ono's departure was for better or for worse and affirming he's still on Street V (I hope that he's at least still involved on directing SFV).

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...So an idea I've seen kicked around a lot about why fighting games are as niche as they are, regardless of things like control schemes or their long learning curves.
In a game like Overwatch or Hearthstone, there's plausible cause for a loss other than a lack of skill on your part: either someone else you were teamed up with was incompetent, your luck was bad, or your opponent was overly lucky, etc.
In a one-on-one fighting game, though, short of blaming lag or bad match ups, the onus of winning is entirely on you and thus, when you lose, it's your fault. There's no one to point fingers at otherwise.
I think this has been discussed before that yeah you can only blame one of two things if you lose: yourself or the game. And if people don't want to blame themselves, they quit the game.
Yeah I kinda feel the popularity of the MOBA Genre has nixed the "Complexity" argument awhile ago (Although I wouldn't mind more games like Fantasy Strike) so there are definitely other factors at work.
Bleye knows Sabers. It's quite simple. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was a very public embarrassment for the company (and while it improved with the DLC fighters and the Arcade Edition re-release, Street Fighter V started off in an awkward spot as well), while Monster Hunter proved to be the most massive success they've had in quite a while.

It makes perfect sense to me. As I said before, I hope he proves me wrong on my fears and ends up bringing about some "Capcom Renaissance of Fighting Games".
Also, I heard he takes fan input way more seriously and he can talk executives down, so there is some strange hope in this guy.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...Probably because he's the son of the current Chairman of Capcom. Which might explain why Monster Hunter has been relatively untouched over the years...
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Well, I'm not a Monster Hunter fan myself, but given how people love the franchise, I want to see what he'll do with the fighting games.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...I mean I suppose nepotism can be used for good.
But yeah Street Fighter V was not a complete game at launch. Neither was MVCI, but people didn't bother giving it a chance to become one.
Bleye knows Sabers. And they shouldn't have of course.
When a game is released, it has to be released complete.
Street Fighter V may have survived but its rep was irreparably damaged because of that.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I actually gave Street V a chance once Arcade Edition came. And I never complained about its gameplay.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...The change in directors happened back in April. Ono was still promoting SFV at EVO this year which implies he's more of a PR person?
Why Event Hubs decided to an article on that now is beyond me.

Which cement my hatred towards both Marvel & Capcom because of that.
Guess what's back?

A corpse should be left well enough alone...Link's not working.
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy.Okay, NOW it's working.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Awesome as it looks, I'm gonna wait for more roster reveals before going full hype. Hanzo and Genjuro are shoe-ins, but I'm really pulling for Cham Cham.
"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterBetter quality trailer. Also more characters are confirmed in a freeze frame.◊

A corpse should be left well enough alone...The graphics look miles better than King of Fighters XIV. I'm getting major Street Fighter vibes art style wise sans the Street Fighter goofiness.

That's all thanks to the Unreal Engine, which KOF XIV didn't use, having to certainly have less characters in the base game, and the experience gained from KOF XIV.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...We'll have to convince Capcom there's money in it first.
Wait, what!? Does that mean Street Fighter V is done for!? Are the Capcom executives out of their minds?
