This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

What happens to The Red Guy?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."I got this idea watching another video but man it be cool if Mayday and Dylan interacted.
The daughter of Spider-Man and son of Venom. Really showcases the peace the 2 sides have had since and the next generations.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That's already happened with Normie and Mayday. The legacies of the Goblin and Spiders making peace.
The former was even Venom for a while.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. He had a cool Venom form.
Had that whole multi-arm thing.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Christos Gage has confirmed ASM#74 will have a back-up story written by him and illustrated by the Gwen Stacy mini-series art team. He also was the one who helped Spencer out with the main story.
@Akirakan will probably be happy to learn this but in the Marvel's Voices: Comunidades anthology coming out next month Anya and Miles are getting a team up. Straight up the first one between them.
It's kinda bittersweet considering now Anya moved to SF so this will probably their only team-up for a while. It's baffling it took this long, and even a damn cartoon made it happen before the comics did.
Probably the one character that I think should have been included but doesn't seem to be included is Miguel O'Hara. The very first mainstream latino superhero to star in his own ongoing series, but the list of characters doesn't include him.
Sam Alexander getting snubbed is what surprises me most since he's on the cover. Especially weird since Miles is getting two stories. You'd think the second would at least be a teamup between those two since they're buddies, but Miles is teaming up with T'Challa instead lol
So this book is just a bunch of questionable choices.
Is Miles the only one getting 2 stories?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Speaking of Miles, how did his deal with Mephisto end anyway?
The one where he revives Mile's teammates but innocent people die.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Yeah, Miles is the only character getting two stories, the team-up with Anya and with Black Panther.
Edit: Okay, I'm wrong, reading better the names of the last paragraph, Robbie Reyes and German Aguilar (from Strange Academy) are also getting two stories.

The civilian remained dead and he kind of just had to live with that knowledge.

Wait what?
I'd have thought Miles would have tried to reverse this mistake. Is this like an important plot point or has Miles just forgotten about it?
Goddamn, Mephisto taints every Spider character and Marvel loves it.
Did that whole contest of champions finish up or what?

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The run kind of had a no-take-backs moral. Mephisto approached Miles with a deal of getting a do-over the moment Kamala and Viv but withheld that it would cause a butterfly effect of a civilian getting killed who he previously saved.
That plot point has only been indirectly referenced as just Mephisto just like to fuck with the Spider-heroes.

Mephisto’s point was to slowly poison Miles’ mind with what he’d done but his son Blackheart decided to try to fuck with the Champions by corrupting Riri and it brought Miles back to the team
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWonder if Spencer's run has a pay off for it.
Okay, so between, Peter, Ben, Miles, and Otto, which one had the worst deal with Mephisto?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I think people talked about this before, but because of how OMD was done, the actual events of OMD have no effect on Peter. He can't even live with the guilt because he has no memories of it.
Otto arguably got done the dirtiest but between the three the original story with Peter was the most unsatisfying since his memory got erased of it even happening. Miles and Otto had to deal with the consequences of their respective stories while Peter had his memory erased and the story and the story being treated like it was a happy ending because it achieved the Status Quo Quesada wanted.
Reason, why I say Otto got done the most dirty, is that for all of his effort to actually change as person with his new lease on life, [[Mephisto screwed him over and made him go back to being the old Otto]].
4chan leaker has dropped some further spoilers for ASM#875
One of the epilogues ties into Spider-Man Beyond, with Ben reunited with Elizabeth Tyne by the Beyond corporation as a way of guaranteeing his loyalty
Edited by Zarius on Sep 28th 2021 at 2:39:46 AM
ben also made a deal with mephisto. but he didnt follow through on his end so mephisto mind controlled kaine to try and kill him
It should be noted that Flash Thompson also got involved with Mephisto, being forced to make an agreement with him to stop his son from taking over Las Vegas.
So we can add Venom into the list of spider-characters who had to make a deal with Mephisto for whatever reason.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."In fairness, it was retconned that the symbiote and not Flash made that deal, and Red Hulk, X-23 and a Ghost Rider also made that deal.
,and andi is the one who ended up with the hellmark from the deal
So that’s how that happened
Forever liveblogging the Avengers
So who is BND Harry? Another clone right?
