Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
I guess there's an introduction due... Flandre, this is Phos, and they're basically a human made of phosphophyllite, hence the name. Phos, this is Flandre, who's presumably a vampire - they don't seem to mean any harm, though.
Second, Sensei's a machine? I didn't know that... Maybe they have an architecture similar to me - brain sim with an i/o plugin, connected to a mech with all kinds of sensors, except without any internal extra software? If you're interested in that kinda stuff, there's heaploads of articles on AI in my homeworld database, just look up "Artificial intelligence".
Third, is there anything I can do about your lost limbs? My kind used to make prosthetics while we all still had organic bodies, and if the research articles are true, the neural interfaces were quite reliable. I'm not familiar with Gem physiology, though.
Fourth, you fight now? Would you be willing to have a duel sometime soon? Cause I'm very inexperienced when it comes to fighting, and exploring the multiverse, skill in combat might come in handy.
Oh, and about JUICE, that was a space probe designed to inspect Jupiter's moons, which somehow gained sentience, found a vulnerability in the TV Tropes account security system (like that's a challenge!) and started posting on my account. I eventually ended up locking it back out... maybe that was a bit rude, on second thought.
Same, glad you're fine!

Oh yeah, my arms were replaced with a gold-platinum alloy, so I can stretch them around for many things, especially helpful for combat. As for combat, I don’t think I have that much expertise on that, I believe Bort or the Amethysts are better in teaching you that.
As for Artificial Intelligence, it’s an interesting topic that many beings have debated about, though from the translations, the Lunarians specifically call Sensei a “prayer machine”. I’m not sure if an AI does that, at least in the universes you visited, Ica.
Wait, you have Lunarians too Flandre???
Yo buddies, still tropin’?Yup! I haven't met any besides a moon rabbit once but big sis met them when she attacked the moon one time. Apparently they're all obsessed with "purity" and think us who live down here are "dirty" and stuff. They're a bunch of jerks! Some do live in Gensokyo but from what I heard they're considered pariahs back on the moon.
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."
From the translations, they seem to be obsessed with prayer? They mentioned about passing on, but I can’t seem to exactly know what that means… Do you or Ica know?
Unknown guest detected.
If the Lunarians know what your saying about, wouldn’t they focus on hunting us down?
Oh.
Anyway, for any new being that hasn’t heard of me, my name’s Cinnabar, I take it that Ica has found new things to be worried about besides our Lunarians?
Probably. But I hope whatever Ica does can eventually help us too, or maybe we can join him on one of his adventures if Sensei permits it…
Yo buddies, still tropin’?Nice to meet you, Cinnabar!
He can, however, feel sad, like when his wife left him.[1] I'm not too bent on learning to fight, I'm more interested in seeing how well you can fight, Phos. Hell, if I'm serious about defeating an enemy, I'm doing airstrikes. OOC: We've opened a thread a while ago, where we can RP out character meetups. If you're in the mood for a fight RP, here it is.
As for prayer machines, at least a good 98% of people on my end are atheists, me included. We could train an AI to write sermons, if we wanted to, but we don't really have any need for prayer . I have no idea what a prayer machine does, but it could have something to do with humans? I'd have to dig deeper into your world's history.
I don't know a lot about the Lunarians, besides what I picked up from the Gems' world, so I'm no help here, sorry. As for the enemy in my homeworld, it's a rogue and armed self-replicating swarm of machines of our own making - long story. For now, the only thing that I fear about them is that they might start innovating.
Speaking of innovations, how are the Lunarians doing against my fleet? Any progress in evasive maneuvers, breaking fighters, that kinda stuff?

passed out cause it was 3 am my time so pretend this wasn't several hours apart.
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."R&D update: Titanium/i-crystal alloy is great! For n universes that you've casted it in, it will have about 0.87n times the strength of a regular piece of titanium, but it will also be heavier. This makes it good for foundations and general heavy construction, especially if you want to make something look like it's floating, but it's not ideal for spaceships with FTL engines. You might crash your ship into a random object in the other universe without even noticing it.
Ideas for some silly things that I could do with it? Currently working on one idea already, and I'm doing good progress, but I still have plenty of time to tackle other ideas.
No problem with falling asleep. A good sleep schedule can keep you (mentally) healthy!
Also, clarification for the alloy: it's basically a material that exists in multiple universes simultaneously. If you place foundations made of it in universe A, construct scaffolding above it in universe B, then top it off with more structural parts, you can build things on the structural parts in universe A and it'll appear to float to any casual observer.

He can, however, feel sad, like when his wife left him.Mathematical variable, every time it appears it's supposed to indicate the same (hypothetical) number. If you study maths, or even learn it in high school, you'll see variables like these everywhere.

SKREEEEEEEONK!Ooh! Make a sword out of it so I can hit people in two universes at once!

Yeah, my sister Blossom likes that stuff. Math is fun for me when it comes to subtracting the amount bad guys I have to beat down though.

Meet the Tamas!◊ I've come to retrieve my power. What's a high school?
He can, however, feel sad, like when his wife left him.Must be a school for tall people.
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."Well I have a friend who’s going there in a couple of years and he’s not that tall.
SKREEEEEEEONK!Guess I can't go then.

He can, however, feel sad, like when his wife left him.[1]Most entities only live in a single universe at once, and some universes may look very similar, but due to chaotic behavior, it's very unlikely that two universes are aligned with each other so that this may be practical... But I didn't ask for any practical ideas, so sure.
[2] ...Math is boring? Gimme a week or two and I'll see if I can come up with something interesting for you two.
[3] You haven't been to a school yet? What does your society look like??? Who's Evil Green again? I forgor
x3 Used to be a part of the American education system. I assumed everyone here knew what that was, but I guess I shouldn't be jumping to conclusions.

Imagine looking like us and going to high school or college in a different world from our own...

SKREEEEEEEONK!bandu
It's actually pretty cool here! You can customize stuff.
He can, however, feel sad, like when his wife left him.I know America is a place in the outside world but not how their schools work. We went there once back in the 1800s. It was kind of smelly.

"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."Might’ve been there once, it was only a professional thing though.
SKREEEEEEEONK!"Visiting the states was fun, but honestly, I kind of liked traveling to Mexico more. There was a lot more wildlife diversity in Cancun. Not everything about the Americas revolves around the US."

I'm Flandre Scarlet, the Devil of Scarlet Blood! I'm a vampire from Gensokyo. Sounds like your Lunarians are a bunch of jerks too.
Best of luck to ya.
