I'm guessing 3000 ATK for a Link-1 monster is because it requires a very specific Link Material…

That is the least generic Link-1 I've ever seen. But, like, I'm sure you'd play it in Infernoble Knight; who's going to say 'no, I don't want to add a spell/trap negate to my boss monster for no cost'.

Otherwise, this is one of those archetypes where I don't have a good enough understanding of what the deck can already do to really evaluate these cards. Like, yes, okay, they all do Infernoble Knight things, but do they do them better than the cards they already have? And if so how much better?

So that leak may have been legit, Evols have found a new way to evolve further!

Definitely a lot of FIRE to go around, presumably to sync up with the Duelist Pack.

FIRE’s been considered the weakest attribute for a long time so I bet people are happy.

Thought that opinion died out after Salamangreats became a pain in everyone's asses for the better part of the VRAINS era?

I mean, one good archetype doesn't really elevate the whole Attribute compared to the multiple the others have.

I just saw a video point out that you can use Burial from a Different Dimension to re-use all the Gate Guardian pieces to make a second 3-piece Gate Guardian fusion in the same turn.

No, the gimmick that it's all things a young girl is conjuring within her dreams. All they're all really high level beasts because she's got a strange imagination.

Anyway, my feeling is the deck needs more than three new cards, and a trap searcher + a trap that's merely okay are not really the cards they needed. They're still in the 'not enough cards to play the deck pure, so what do we do with them?' zone, in other words.

The flavor for the deck is the girl, Nemureila (a Pendulum monster) falls asleep in her bed (the Extra Deck) and that's what causes all the nightmare monsters and such to come out and protect her dreams.

The monsters all summon themselves when she's in the Extra Deck, and then banish other cards from the ED for cost. When the entire ED is gone, Nemureila wakes up (summons herself) and nontarget banishes a ton of cards. After which, your facedown banished cards get shuffled back for her to go to bed again.

I care more about the first counting as a Drytron and letting you search Spells.

Well dont get too excited, then; outside of the fusion drytrons dont have an innate way to search it, and since its water no cyber emergency for you.

Sure they do. Nova and Mu Beta Fafnir search it just fine. Admittedly it's not as good a target for Mu Beta Fafnir as the other Drytrons, and you'd kind of prefer to use this to search Nova than do that, but it's still a Drytron name; it's hardly unsearchable.

The problem is that neither of those cards put it in the hand, which is where you need it to for for it's effect to actually proc.

....Then its not searching. thats special summoning, or in beta fafnir's case, a send to grave.

I'm still surprised they didn't make Hungry Burger support be the ingredients for the burger. Mystic Tomato, Mystic Lettuce, Mystic Beef... Then Mystic Potato could've been used for "Hungry Fries".

They kind of had that with the old video games where you had Ritual requirements. Hamburger Recipe required Bio Plant, Battle Steer, and Griggle. Though otherwise is was Bio Plant + two Monsters.

It's mostly fun to imagine for later Rituals for the sake of silliness. At least ones that aren't meant to be semi-obvious(like the Pendulum Dragon one).

The new lore stories for the upcoming Valuable Book EX3: Albaz Finale, Visas Starfrost, Labrynth, Vaylantz, Purrely, Runick, Mikanko, and Vernusylph.
