I'd be down for new stages and track packs if only so we could get some Fire Emblem: Three Houses music in there.

The main problem with that idea is the cost of it.
If that happens and Sonic the Hedgehog (series) doesn't get at least on "new" remix out of it, shenanigans will be called out.
Surely there's a willing composer who wants to do a Sonic track.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.x3 Still mad we didn't get more Fates music.
Say what you will about the game as a whole but you have to admit it has a gnarly soundtrack.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?So as someone who's never played Fatal Fury, I have to ask: anyone have any soundtracks from the series that they're hoping will be in the game?
Even if there's no new character associated with it just want at least one more Fire Emblem stage. It's got a really fucky character-to-stage ratio, and could use a few new music tracks from recent games.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I mentioned a while back, but Esaka is a near-guarantee, although Tears is probably at the top of my list. Arashi no Saxophone and Geese's theme which played in the reveal trailer are also extremely likely.
I've only played more recent Fire Emblem games, but from what I've seen none of them have locations that would make for good Smash stages.
Even Castle Siege is just kind of a generic mishmash of medieval fantasy stuff that barely represents FE.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?“Even Castle Siege”
You mean the very first Fire Emblem stage where they were explicitly not trying to emulate anything specifically from any particular game?
The stages based on Awakening are much better, and a Garreg Mach stage would not be out of place.
I’d love a stage based on Shambhala, but 1) it’s a major spoiler and 2) it’s not at all a fair representation for the game or series as a whole.
SoundCloudI'd love that level to be in just to see people's reaction to the stage music. Definitely one of the odder ones in the Fire Emblem series.
Some sleeper hits for Fatal Fury/KOF music aside from the obvious.
Kind of hope they focus on Fatal Fury and Fatal Fury related music but it's probably gonna be a grab bag of KOF hits.

Just as long as it doesn't come with Byleth, I'd be all for more Three Houses stuff.

This song needs more love. From what I know of TH, Byleth is both the main protagonist and very popular. On that basis, Byleth would almost certainly be central to any TH representation in Smash
On the topic of music, I personally wish that some more tracks from the main classic Sonic games were included. All that 2 and 3 got were their respective first level themes, so the likes of Mystic Cave Zone and, say, a mashup of the two Flying Battery Zone tracks would've been pretty sweet. Or maybe a boss battle medley from across the games (bonus points if they somehow worked in the 'Work that sucka to death' sample from the Sonic CD JP soundtrack).
I've been on something of a kick with regards to classic Sonic music as of late, and it's not even out of nostalgia; I was an SNES kid.

Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805On the topic of Fire Emblem stages: I am O.K. with Castle Siegenote but I'm not fond of the Coliseum. Granted, the non-sequential nature of the series makes it hard to pick "iconic" locations, but something like the Dragon's Gate or Belhalla would be memorable enough to make stages out of.
I'm fine with Garreg Mach Monastery as a Boxing Ring-esque stage.
It's been 3000 years…There's also always the final stage from Awakening.
Boxing Ring how?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Three Houses have an arena for students to duel. The game also have a "gauntlet" weapon.
Where there's life, there's hope.Exactly.
It's been 3000 years…Garreg Mach's gimmick would probably be to try to reflect all the various activities you can do there, so Arena stuff makes sense. There's also the mess hall, fishing, gardening, tea time...
The fighting tournaments are such a small part of Garreg Mach. I think Garreg Mach would benefit from a being a "tour" stage like Delfino Plaza and Skyloft, visiting the fishing pond, cathedral, barracks, arena, and greenhouse.
Alternatively, Gronder Field. It's probably the most iconic location from Three Houses.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Really? I mean, Gronder's chapters are memorable, but I don't know if that rises to the level of being "iconic." If we're going for locations that are open in all routes, Garreg Mach and maybe the Holy Tomb make the most sense to me.
But yeah, that;s also my idea for a Garreg Mach stage. Could even have cameos by students and faculty in the background ala the Phantom Thieves in Mementos.

While Touhou is primary a shooter series, it has had two sets of fighting games (one set being a traditional fighting game and the other being a 2D flying fighting game), which put characters in a less "just shoot everything" situation (a lot of projectiles to be had). With that in mind, having Reimu and Marisa as Echoes of each other would require building both of them with that in mind, which is not as straight-forwards as it seems.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!
