This is the thread for discussion of The Order of the Stick plot, characters, etc. We have a separate thread for discussing game rules and mechanics. Excessive rules discussions here may be thumped as off-topic.

At this point I don't think this matters. It's became a Running Gag that their name cannot be uttered, so unlikely that it would change.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Welp, so much for that.
Disgusted, but not surprisedThat was countered more anticlimactically than I expected.
Thankfully the paladins can lay on hands, so Sunny will most likely be coming back soon with the cavalry on their back (head?).
Also, probably not a good thing for Bloodfeast to be a tiny lizard gnawing on a big dragon's claw.

Gooooaaaalllll!!!!! Wait, wrong sport.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Sunny! ;-;
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI guess it's time for V to start casting spells again.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Hmm.
This'll be a problem, but Calder has also just unintentionally brought two other players into the game. So time will tell who it'll be a problem for.
One Strip! One Strip!O-Chul and Lien saving Sunny and coming in to help finish Calder off might be a nice way to finally get Serini to shut up about how much she hates Paladins...

Are beholders meant to be that bouncy?
Secret SignatureCalder looks like he took some serious damage, but this is probably the end for Bloodfest. Belkar's going to be upset.
I was going to say that Calder won't make the same mistake the last dragon facing a small lizard did, and just eat Bloodfeast in one bite, but... if Calder just swallows Bloodfeast whole, and then Sunny gets back up there lickety-split... could this happen again?
No, because anti-magic cones cannot cross barriers.
Even if the dino himself is no longer a factor, this was still a tactical win for the Order; the mind-controlled Sunny is no longer in play.
5-ball, corner pocket?
♭What. My mind could vividly hear the sound effect of that bouncing.
Both hilarious and horrifying.
Am I th eonly one feeling like this might where Belkar dies? One of the two beings he cares about is about to get crushed by a dragon.
That's entirely possible, but it's not the first time ever that same prediction has been brought up.
Calder eats the dinosaur, Belkar goes berserk, attacks the dragon, the dragon eats Belkar too. But that won't happen because that would be the too obvious course of events.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Eating an angry halfling seems like a bad idea if you like your insides.
Secret SignatureBad for the halfling too if you are a great wyrm.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Nope, no way Belkar's death is going to be caused by a random dragon who only first appeared a few strips ago.
As I said, I think this could be the end of Bloodfeatser specifically to make us see Belkar experience grief and loss, then when Belkar does bite the dust it will have that much bigger an impact.

The only ones who can get away with acting chummy to Red Dragons are Githyanki thanks to the pact with Tiamat. Even then, it's only younger Red Dragons that put up with being mounts. Older Reds such as presumably Calder won't take shit from a Githyanki.
Disgusted, but not surprised
