This is the thread for discussion of The Order of the Stick plot, characters, etc. We have a separate thread for discussing game rules and mechanics. Excessive rules discussions here may be thumped as off-topic.

Ah. Got it. That makes sense. I definitely had a sense of that in relation to Belkar-death theories, but for some reason I had gotten the impression that the members of the Scribble remembered that Kraagor was important to them but couldn't remember anything else about him.
Kraagor's sacrifice is forgotten in the sense that the Order of the Scribble could not tell anyone else about it, not in any sort of memory magic thing.
I mean there is still the matter of Serini's partner. That person could be a member of the Holey brotherhood.
You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the mid"It's a bloody winter wonderland out there and I don't have internal heating" isn't enough? I wish I had that sort of cloak and I'm in Louisiana.
Seriously, it's often thirty degrees down here.
Rob, you stuck to your guns this far. And if you're right, I'll be the first to congratulate you for your miracle guess.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Hmmm... its probably just a coincidence, but it occurs to me that there WAS another character who turned up in a similar cloak to that worn by Belkar and Serini, among the Sapphire Guard who got killed by Xykon's superball gambit, and as far as I can tell we never actually got a look at their arms to see if they were in proportion with their supposed height. Given how this was the same arc that introduced the idea of "cloaked halfling on stilts"...
Like I said, like 99% certain its just a coincidence, and apologies if anyone brought it up before and it was already dismissed or jossed. I just wanted to briefly bring it up just on the astronomically low chance it does turn out to be relevant to what's going on somehow. x3
So I'm looking at the YMMV, and...I don't think Tarquin and Malack are exactly Ensemble Darkhorses? They're the major villains for almost an entire book.
Would Hilgya and Redcloak fit under Base-Breaking characters as well? For the former, there were HUGE forum battles on whether she was evil or not, and the latter's always been a topic of intense discussion especially since 1209.
I admit. I'm still hoping. Like, it hasn't been disproven yet
We knew Serini was going to show up at some point. Now all that's left is her buddy.
One Strip! One Strip!Looking more closer, the only similarity to the Holey Brotherhood is the bluish hood. The guy in the crayon comic wears a purple robe and a blue hooded cape, while Serini wore a bluish-purple hooded cloak. But yeah, in searching for the character who had appeared in only one comic so far, I got the impression that it might be a good guess. I wonder who that character will be. Definitely not Serini, because she appeared in 2 of the crayon comics.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us."Minion" rather than "buddy". Whoever it is called her Boss when they darted the paladins.
http://www.mansionofe.comMaybe an underling or henchman. That sounds more rogue-ish. She's definitely not evil overlordy enough for minions.
Avatar SourceUnderling, lackey, henchman, minion... underlackey-henchminion...
Ward. Sidekick. Adorable orphan.
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."Meatshield. Stepstool. Potion tester.

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsShe's almost certainly Serini Toormuck, from the Order of the Scribble.
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask.It bugs me a little that Serini has red hair. Unholey Sisterhood over here has almost certainly greyed over the years, but it looks like there's a faint yellowness that makes her hair feel like it greyed from blonde.
But that might just be my eyes playing tricks on me 'cause I'm not used to pure white hair on characters. This is almost certainly Serini.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.What, we're debating whether it's Serini now? Who the heck else could it be? She had to put in an appearance sooner or later, alive or dead, since this is the Gate that she built and defended.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"It is your eyes playing tricks on you, maybe due to the surroundings. Checking it, her hair is straight #FFFFFF, no tint at all.

If you import it into a functional-enough image editor, sure.
SoundCloudThere is probably some kind of tool that offers that functionality in-browser, but I just copied the image file from the site and pasted it into Paint.NET. (You could also use a screenshot, in most cases.) Then I used the eyedropper tool on her hair to check the hex, and used the magic wand at zero tolerance to check that her hair was all that exact hex. And it was, barring the antialiasing of the lines at the edges. The same for the hair on her feet, incidentally.

Or you can ask.You can just open the image in Paint or any other image editor, select the color with the pipette and see what it is. Though there are also softwares that are basically a pipette for anywhere on your screen.

Worldbuilding is fun, writing is a chore
Getting killed by the Snarl doesn't erase your memory of a person. It erases their soul.
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️
