• Fridge Sadness: The character profiles by Osamu Nishi states that Clara had to be sold by her family due to financial troubles. Look into the original series on how happy mainline Clara's family is, and look back here. Chapter 5 even shows her family photo. We actually see her being sold, and her family was reluctant for doing so.
• Just Here for Godzilla: For some, the main appeal of the spin-off is its mafia esthetic.
• Memetic Mutation: After Ameri's debut in the manga, some readers dread for the fact that she's Childhood Friends with Iruma and that she won't end up with him, unlike her original version who is more close to the original Iruma because she isn't.
• Moe: Iruma as usual. The kid does his best to be the good Benevolent Boss in his family, and manages to win the hearts of other people. Even his 5 year old toddler self is adorable enough just for existing.
• Ship-to-Ship Combat: As usual, just like in the original manga, there are shipping wars with whoever goes with Iruma. You have the IrumaXAzz, IrumaXClara, and the ever popular IrumaXAmeri, especially how Iruma has a personal connections with them (Azz being his right-hand man, Iruma wanting to save and free Clara and find her family, and Iruma being Childhood Friends with Ameri). The only person Iruma isn't shipped with is Opera, and they are his adopted sibling.
