YMMV / Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures

Go To

  • Accidental Innuendo: In the final game, Wallace asks Mrs. Gabberly if he can "[dip] the handle of [his] golf club into [her] sticky nut butter". He's trying to coat the club with peanut butter to create a sticky trap, but the way it's phrased makes it sound like a roundabout offer to have sex.
  • Angst? What Angst?: Ms. Flitt clearly loves her dogs, Poogie-Woo and Tinkie-Wee, to the point where she plays dress-up with them. And, Although she was shocked to find out they assaulted Duncan, she doesn't seem remotely bothered by the fact that they where washed down into prison. Even stranger is that the very next story revolves around dogs, yet Ms. Flitt doesn't mention Poogie-Woo and Tinkie-Wee outside of a throwaway comment when irritated with a stray in the beginning.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Despite only getting a major role in the third episode, Monty Muzzle is often considered the game's most memorable original character, due to Struan Rodger's brilliant vocal performance and there being some actual layers to Muzzle's villainy.
  • Memetic Mutation: Muzzled! has Dummied Out joke lines of Wallace saying... less than savory things. These quickly caught on when they were discovered due to the sheer absurdity of Wallace being incredibly vulgar. The lines "I'm gonna whup his arse!" and "You really ate all these pies? You Fat Bastard!" see the most use in animations.
  • Visual Effects of Awesome: While it is in CGI, the game successfully replicates the stop motion claymation from the original films, right down to small details such as fingerprints on the models and other clay modeling details.
  • The Woobie:
    • All the captured dogs in Muzzled! really count considering they've been forced to do hard labor for Muzzle and aren't cut any slack.
    • Wallace himself verges on this sometimes. He tries so hard to be helpful, yet people still often only complain about him, sometimes right to his face. Considering how nice a guy he is, it makes you want to give him a hug.
