YMMV / Ultraman Nice

• Awesome Music: Ultraman Nice, the theme that plays in every fight in this series; it's one of the few things that isn't Stylistic Suck and could easily be the opening theme for a proper Ultraman show.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Despite the show's silly nature and practically every instance of violence are played for slapstick reasons, fans, especially 90s kids who watched the adverts in their childhood (it came out near the end of said decade, after all) are crazy over Ultraman Nice and his shenanigans. Nice's confirmed return for Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad made many fans very happy.
  • Case in point? Nice has his own fanmade Ultra-card based on the concept from Ultraman Orb, made 17 years after the adverts have ended!
• Narm Charm: Part of the advert's appeal is due to the low-budget, cheesy nature, with it's laughable fight scenes and constant Special Effects Failure. And this was done on purpose.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The first Ultraman who is married to a human woman and had children with her. Nope, we're not talking about Leito Igaguri, that was 18 years later^note Though Zero only bonded with Leito long after the latter had already married and had children. It's made even more hilarious after the announcement of the premise of Ultraman Blazar, 24 years later, in which the main protagonist is now a family man who bonds with an Ultraman.
• So Bad, It's Good: So very, very bad, but also so very, very good.
