  • Broken Base: The fifth season cast. Some fans think that the contestants are likable and prefer the bigger amount of comedians and actors instead of having more singers like in the fourth season; other fans think that most contestants are not very good and that the cast could be a lot better.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Some contestants were loved by the audience, even if some of them had no chance to win the show. Some examples are Arturo Valls from the second season, Llum Barrera from the third, Edu Soto, Silvia Abril and Ana Morgade from the fourth, and Yolanda Ramos and Canco Rodríguez from the fifth.
  • Most Wonderful Sound: For a lot of fans, Mónica Naranjo's laugh is this.
  • Negated Moment of Awesome: On the 13th episode of season 5, it looked like David Guapo was finally going to win after spending pretty much the entire season at the bottom of the pile when he got a perfect score from the judges that gave him 12 points for the final rankings, while Beatriz Luengo landed the second slot (11 points). But then he received a fourth-place vote from the studio audience (9 points) while Luengo got another 2nd place vote (another 11 points), edging him out to take her second win of the season. He would end up joining Carolina Ferre, Vicky Larraz, and fellow season 5 participants Yolanda Ramos and Juan Muñoz in the no wins club.
  • Replacement Scrappy: Marta Sánchez was this for a lot of people when she was drafted in to replace Carolina Cerezuela in season 3. Shaila Dúrcal was also seen this way when she joined the jury on season 4, after Mónica Naranjo left the show. Averted with Lolita (who also joined in season 4) and Chenoa (who replaced Shaila in season 5), as both of them were received with a lot of praise.
  • The Scrappy: Most fans didn't mind when Marta Sánchez announced that she would no longer be a member of the jury after the third season.
    • Vicky Larraz, from the fourth season, managed to get most of the lower scores the audience on the set gave, not reaching first place even when the jury gave her the highest score. She is one of the five contestants in the show's history that ended a season winless.
  • Scrappy Mechanic: The audience vote. Its purpose is great: to make the show fairer by giving voice to the people that are in the set. But in the end, the audience vote makes a lot of undeserved winners and takes away the victory from less popular contestants or from contestants who sang less popular songs.
  • So Bad, It's Good: Los Chunguitos' comically disastrous performance as Loco Mía in season 3.
  • Tough Act to Follow: The fourth season cast was so well-liked and fit together so well, that many fans are afraid that the show won't have such a good cast ever again.
