YMMV / Transformers: MHA

  • Accidental Innuendo: When Starscream asks Swift how Blastwave survived Optimus' attack she says that apparently Blastwave is not just thick in the head but thick everywhere else. She immediately tells Starscream to forget what she said.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • The very first Maximal introduced in the story is the rarely remembered Apelinq, and the chapter that introduced him was published long before it was revealed that Apelinq would also be the very first Maximal introduced in Rise of the Beasts.
    • Chapter 41 teases that G.I. Joe's getting in on the story, and then Rise of the Beasts ended with a tease of a future G.I. Joe X Transformers film, time will tell if Cobra Commander will remark on sounding similar to Starscream.
  • I Knew It!: When Sky-Byte reveals he was being chased by an Autobot who used to be a friend of Starscream's, many people already guessed that it was Jetfire.
  • Shocking Moments: Many people weren't expecting Kyoka to get an internship offer from Snake Eyes of all people, or the fact that G.I. Joe would be included in this story.
  • Unexpected Character:
    • More than half of Starscream's crew on the Darksyde is made up of somewhat obscure characters with the exception of Screamer himself, as well as Barricade and Frenzy to a lesser degree, since Swift, Flatline, Blastwave and Makeshift are not very well known.
    • The ending of Chapter 41 of Earthrise introduces none other than G.I. Joe 's Snake Eyes, and with Jinx in Chapter 46, the entire G.I. Joe universe as a whole.
    • The ending of Chapter 55 sees the debut of Sky-Byte, the poetry-loving shark Predacon from Robots In Disguise. This was due to his original voice actor, Peter Spellos, recently passing away, and the author deciding to bring him earlier than planned.
