• Angst? What Angst?: Axel and Mona are perfectly fine with The Reveal that they’re probably half-siblings.
• Awesome Music: It’s Galenskaparna & After Shave bringing their A-game, so this should be a given.
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The stage version has a bizarre reversal gag where a suitcase delivers a passenger before leaving on its own. It was cut from the film, likely for being this.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Peter Rangmar and Jan Rippe playing Those Two Guys only a few years before being cast as Timon and Pumbaa in the Swedish dub of The Lion King (1994).
  • Chlaes Eriksson playing a character who name-drops Pernilla Wahlgren as a female celebrity he wouldn’t trade his Mastercard for, after she teamed up with his co-stars Knut Agnred (Sören) Per Fritzell (Stellan) and Jan Rippe (Ernst) on the gameshow Gäster med gester in 2012.
• Signature Song: Pappa jag vill ha en italienare (Daddy, I Want an Italian) which became a hit independently of the show itself.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: The film is very faithful to the stage musical overall, but some fans lament the loss of the song Hård kärlek (Hard Love). Chlaes Eriksson, for his part, felt that it slowed the plot down to a halt, and that its original purpose of giving the actors enough time to prepare for the next scene was no longer necessary.)
