* AlasPoorScrappy: The TOM 4 era was often ridiculed for it's sudden change in design without warning. However after this event, many couldn't help be feel sorry for him and his crew. After all, he may have been a different TOM but he was still a beloved Toonami host, especially after giving that beautiful speech at the end when the block was initially cancelled.
* MoralEventHorizon: The Intruder assimilates and murders [[spoiler:Sara]], and outright confirms he did this to TOM 4 as well, pretty much for no reason except to hurt TOM 5.

* DarknessInducedAudienceApathy: A rare example where a miniseries retroactively does this to its prequel comic. Episode 5 and WordOfGod have both revealed that The Intruder ultimately pulled an offscreen HappyEndingOverride on TOM 4 and his crew, thus turning said comic into a case of DevelopingDoomedCharacters.

In order: Misuse of Accidental Innuendo (at best it'd be Freud Was Right, but even that's a stretch), I don't believe that scene has actually seen any Memetic Mutation, and the Narm entry is poor because it relies on another example (which is not allowed) and the last bit is just incorrect.

* AccidentalInnuendo: Did TOM get red cum on his arm?

* MemeticMutation: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCaMawUtAiw TOM screaming in pain]] as his arm is rendered useless by a portion of the Intruder's slime.
* MoralEventHorizon: The Intruder assimilates and murders [[spoiler:Sara]], and outright confirms he did this to TOM 4 as well, pretty much for no reason except to hurt TOM 5.
* {{Narm}}: TOM's aftermentioned scream can be viewed as this when you realize his moaning sounds like [[TheImmodestOrgasm something else]].

He's not listed in any of the pages, so he probably wasn't approved.

* CompleteMonster: The Intruder. While he couldn't really be blamed for his actions in his debut, given his lack of sentience and all, both this event and its prequel comic reveals he actually did develop more than enough sentience sometime offscreen... and freely chose to become TheSociopath who's willing to kill and absorb TOM 4, Flash, D, SARA, and TOM 5, all out of DisproportionateRetribution for being merely inconvenienced by something only TOM 2 did (and only out of self-defense at that). Furthermore, he also reveals he's pulled this same schtick on countless other beings offscreen, meaning he even enjoys attacking people not even remotely connected to his enemies.
