• Hilarious in Hindsight: The ending gag of The Ghosts and the Machine, published in October 2019, reveals that Frankenstein-818 has built "a gateway to the Demon Realm" to follow up his Spirit Realm Gateway. A few months later, The Owl House premiered, focusing on a character who blunders through a portal to Another Dimension also known as "the Demon Realm". (Though a fairly generic way of referring to a dimension full of demons, the name, with capital letters and everything, is not known to have been used by any prior work of English-language fiction.)
