- Awesome Boss: The fight against Balthus Dire is surprisingly deep and offers a lot of different ways to confront him. Steve Jackson himself spent a lot of time to design and write it.
- That One Boss / That One Level: The Ganjees. Not only do they give you heavy penalties simply for scaring you so much, you are pretty much powerless as you cannot use your magic, and unless you have the right items, you are doomed.
