• Broken Base: With the game released, there are easily two sides developing over this game - either it's a fun throwback to the days before online play or a terrible niche game that is doomed to fail because it doesn't have a single player mode nor an online mode. The players who like it enjoy it for the simple throwback of having a group of friends come around and beat each other up or just fight a bunch of helpless other players by yourself on a boring random day. The other side hates it because, in a day and age where single player and online modes are felt to be a major necessity, this game is only hurting itself by not having it and its other retro throwbacks harm it even further.
• Spiritual Adaptation: With all the copyright-safe parodies of various Anime genres coming together for an all-out brawl, one can't help but think of this as a sort of successor to Re:CREATORS.
