• Fridge Horror: The robots were all built to fight a war. What happens when one side of the war wins? Do they all shut down, or decide to continue fighting? After all, they do seem to have an ability to redefine who an "enemy" is, and do so rapidly.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Chakotay saying he'd hate to lose another shuttle, given his subsequent Commander Crash reputation.
• Narm:
  • B'Elanna actually says My God, What Have I Done? out loud. Bit on the nose.
  • The writers were worried that the robot costumes would be hard for the audience to take seriously, and Ken Biller admitted that it turned out "hokey and cheesy" just as he had feared, taking away from the story.
