YMMV / 16 Wishes

• Alternative Character Interpretation: Abby was the real Alpha Bitch all along as she was so obsessed with becoming popular that she was completely bratty to everyone else, and as one of her wishes showed her, the world was better off without her
• Awesome Music: "Open Eyes" and "A Wish Comes True Every Day", both performed by Debby Ryan.
• Jerkass Woobie: Abby after the audience learns what a jerk she's been and the subsequent Humiliation Conga. On the other side of that same coin, Krista becomes one too.
• So Okay, It's Average: Your basic wish goes wrong story, not much too memorable but certainly not forgettable.
• Tear Jerker: When Abby tries to get home after going to Krista's birthday party.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic:
  • Jay completely ditches his friend Krista in favor of Abby, who he hopes will fall in love with him. He is never called out for this, and the movie actually treats it as Abby's fault for "stealing Jay" from Krista.
  • Likewise, most viewers weren’t on board with the idea that Krista spending years bullying and intentionally one-upping Abby is supposed to be sympathetic because Abby "stole" Jay’s friendship in elementary school (by simply asking him to be friends).
