YMMV / Pom Gets Wi Fi

• Anvilicious: The happy ending has Pom telling Shibe that she needs wifi. That it's the only thing that matters to her. Shibe rebukes her statement by saying that she can do whatever she wants without wifi. One line really takes the cake, though.
  "Please don't just sit here surfing the web while the world falls apart around you."
• Base-Breaking Character: Some find Pom hilarious, cute, and sympathetic. Others find her annoying, spoiled, and all-around unsympathetic. The fact that she has a lot of Tumblr reference humor is also debate; it's either ridiculously funny, or pathetic.
• Funny Moments:
  • Some of the anime and video game references.
  • The parodies of social media websites. Facewoof, gTail, Reddig, and Tumfur.
  • Pom not even being upset that she and Shibe are both dead. She treats it more like an inconvenience than anything else.
  • How does Pom get Doggy Heaven back together in the happy ending? Threatening to pee on it unless it didn't.
• Ho Yay: Pom playfully ships Shibe with Hus. Shibe, of course, isn't too thrilled about it.
• Tear Jerker:
  • Shibe looking down at his master who is apparently visiting a grave, presumably her dogs', and crying. Shibe just feels helpless, unable to comfort her.
  • Shibe breaking down while trying to reason with Pom in the Grand Finale. If she chooses to listen than deliver the One-Hit Kill, his words will reach her and she'll abandon her quest for Wi-Fi.
