• Harsher in Hindsight: Misty's comedic and hypocritical hatred of Gyarados becomes less funny when "Cerulean Blues" reveals that she's traumatically afraid of Gyarados after nearly being eaten by one as a small toddler.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: All of Misty's rage-induced ranting of she's nothing like Gyarados is already funny enough. But it's even more hilarious after watching "Cerulean Blues", where she actually gets a Gyarados on her team and it becomes her mainstay powerhouse ever since. Heck, by the time of the Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon episode "When Regions Collide!", she loves her Gyarados just as much as any other Water-Type Pokémon, even giving it access to Mega Evolution. Guess that fake fortune teller book was right on the mark.
